JELLICOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the North Auckland, Auckland, Wellington, Westland, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes specified in the said Schedule.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Parish of Okura, North Auckland Land District.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a site for a town hall, being a reserve within Class II of the Second Schedule of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and such land is not vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or trustees: And whereas it is expedient that such land should be appropriated for recreation purposes, being a reserve within Class III of the aforesaid Act:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the eleventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, do by this notification declare that the said land shall from and after the eleventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, be appropriated for recreation purposes under Class III of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908; and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALLOTMENT 31, Parish of Okura: Area, 9 perches.

Opening National Endowment Land in the Hawke's Bay Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers on Renewable Lease.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the national endowment land described in the Schedule hereto, which has been set apart for selection by discharged soldiers, shall be open for selection by discharged soldiers on renewable lease on Saturday, the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, at the rental men-
tioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—WAIROA COUNTY.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
SECTION 2, Block XIII, Tuahu Survey District: Area, 3,732 acres 1 rood 8 perches; capital value, £4,665; half-yearly rent, £93 6s.
Altitude from 1,800 ft. to 3,600 ft. above sea-level. The country towards the back is steep and broken, but easier towards the road. All in mixed bush, chiefly birch, with some totara, miro, and hinau throughout. Some undergrowth of supplejack, horopito, karamu, and mahoe in the gullies. Well watered by permanent streams.

Regulations under the Census and Statistics Act, 1910.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Census and Statistics Act, 1910, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations prescribing additional matters in regard to which the Statistician shall collect statistics.
REGULATIONS.

In addition to the matters specified in paragraphs (a) to (j) of section 21 of the Census and Statistics Act, 1910, and in previous regulations made thereunder, the Statistician shall, subject to that section, collect statistics in regard to stocks of wheat and oats in the hands of farmers, and in regard to areas sown in wheat and oats, and in the case of wheat the area sown in each variety thereof.

Every person who has on property occupied or farmed by him any stock of wheat or oats, or any area sown or intended to be sown in either wheat or oats, shall on request, within such time or times as he may be required by the Statistician so to do, furnish particulars regarding such stocks or areas, and in the case of areas sown or intended to be sown in wheat he shall also furnish particulars of the variety or varieties thereof.
