A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Totaranui Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:-

Altering the Boundaries of the Land Districts of Otago and Southland.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of November, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, certain land districts are defined, but it is provided that the Governor by Order in Council, if he shall deem it necessary, may from time to time alter the boundaries of any land district as he shall think fit :
And whereas it is desirable to alter the boundaries of the Otago and Southland Land Districts :
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the hereinbefore-in-part-recited Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby direct and declare that, from and after the eleventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, the boundaries of the said Land Districts of Otago and Southland shall be such as are described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Dominion of New Zealand bounded towards the north generally by a right line from the northern side of Big Bay to Mount Aspiring; thence by the summit of the Southern Alps to Mount Hopkins; thence by the Canterbury Land District, as described in Gazette No. 44, of 25th March, 1915, to the mouth of the Waitaki River; thence towards the south-east generally by the ocean to the eastern boundary of the Waikawa Survey District; thence towards the west generally by the Waikawa, Makoreta, Slopedown, and part of Waikaka Survey Districts to the southern boundary of Crichton Park Settlement; thence generally by the southern and eastern boundaries of said settlement to the eastern boundary, Waikaka Survey District aforesaid; again towards the
west generally by Waikaka, Chatton, and part of Wendon Survey Districts to the southern boundary of Run 175c; thence by the western boundary of Runs 175c, 202, 253, 610, 609, 608, 424B, 424D, and 424c; thence towards the south generally by the southern boundaries of Runs 436, 432, and 354B to Lake Wakatipu; thence by the southern and western shores of Lake Wakatipu to the Greenstone River; thence by that river to the south-eastern boundary of Run 431; thence by the southern and western boundary of Runs 431 and 418, by the watershed between the Hollyford River and the Eglington River to Mount Anau; thence by the summit of the leading range to Homer's Saddle; thence by the watershed between the Hollyford River and the Cleddau to Tutoko Peak; thence by the summit of the leading range to Pembroke Peak; thence by the watershed between John o' Groats River and Thurso River to the sea at Stripe Point, about one mile and a half south of the mouth of John o' Groats River; and thence towards the north-west by the ocean to the northern side of Big Bay, the place of commencement : including all the adjacent islands.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Dominion of New Zealand bounded towards the north-east generally by the Otago Land District hereinbefore described from Stripe Point to the sea at the south-eastern corner of Waikawa Survey District; thence towards the south and west generally by the sea to the place of commencement : with all islands adjacent thereto; and including Stewart, Solander, Ruapuke, the Snares, Auckland, Enderby, Campbell, Antipodes, and Bounty Islands, and all other islands or islets within the limits of the Dominion which lie south of the forty-seventh parallel of south latitude.

Amending Regulations for Trout-fishing in the Auckland Acclimatization District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of November, 1920.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the thirtieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 124, of the second day of the following month, regulations were made for trout-fishing in the Auckland Acclimatization District and waters thereof :
And whereas by Orders in Council dated the twelfth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 170, of the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and No. 144, of the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, respectively, the said regulations of the thirtieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, were amended :
And whereas it is desirable to further amend the said regulations :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section eighty-three of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said regulation made by Order in Council of the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and doth hereby make and substitute the following regulation in lieu thereof, and in place of clause eight of the hereinbefore-recited regulations of the thirtieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
REGULATION.
- No person shall use any bait or lure other than the natural or artificial fly, or natural or artificial minnow, and any small indigenous fish, insect, grasshopper, beetle, or spider. The use of shellfish, koura, or the houhou or matai grub, or of earthworms shall be a breach of the regulations :
Provided that no bait other than artificial fly shall be used for taking fish in that portion of the Puniu River above Kihikihi:
Provided further that no bait other than natural and artificial fly shall be used for taking fish in the South Wairoa River, the Maungatawhiri River, Hay's Creek (otherwise
