IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the North Auckland, Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, and Southland Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes specified in the said Schedule.

Opening National Endowment Land in Southland Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers on Renewable Lease.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the national endowment land described in the Schedule hereto, which has been set apart for selection by discharged soldiers, shall be open for selection by discharged soldiers on renewable lease on Monday, the fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, at the rental mentioned in the said Schedule ; and I do also declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Wallace County.—Jacob’s River Hundred.
SECTION 46, Block VIII : Area, 329 acres 2 roods 8 perches ; capital value, £990 ; half-yearly rent, £19 16s.
Altitude, 184 ft. to 310 ft. 230 acres undulating worked-out-bush land, steep in places, and 100 acres open undulating land grassed chiefly with creeping bent. Soil generally good ; well watered. Formed road through section to Fairfax, 100 chains. Suitable for dairying or pastoral purposes when cleared. Tram rights are reserved until cancelled by the Land Board.

Authorizing the Le Bon’s Bay Road Board to sell Grass on Roads in the Le Bon’s Bay Road District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by section one hundred and twenty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Le Bon’s Bay Road Board to sell or contract to sell and remove grass on district roads in the Le Bon’s Bay Road district.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this 13th day of September, 1920.
