REGULATIONS.
PATENTS.
Hours of Inspection.
THE office shall be open to the public every week-day, except Saturday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon, and from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m., and on Saturday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., except on the days following :—
The days from Good Friday to Easter Tuesday, both inclusive; the days from Christmas Eve to 3rd January, both inclusive; the birthday of the reigning Sovereign; the birthday of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales; and any other days observed by the Government as public holidays.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1920.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, regulations were made under the authority of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), with respect to the transmission of messages by wireless telegraphy and fixing the fees and charges to be demanded and received therefor: And whereas it is desirable to amend such regulations in the manner hereinafter set forth :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in that behalf enabling him, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the regulation numbered seven under the heading “Charges” in the above-recited Order in Council, and in lieu thereof doth make the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto; and doth order that the regulation so made shall be read as part of and together with the regulations hereinbefore mentioned, and shall take effect on and after the date of publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
CHARGES.
Press Radio-telegram.
- THE charge for the transmission from a ship-station of a Press radio-telegram for publication in New Zealand shall be 5s. per 100 words or fraction thereof, allocated as follows :—
Ship-station charge: 2s. 6d. per 100 words or fraction thereof.
Coast-station and inland charges: 2s. 6d. per 100 words or fraction thereof.
The charge for the transmission of a Press radio-telegram to or from the mainland of New Zealand from or to Western Samoa shall be 3d. per word, with a minimum charge of 5s.
For Press radio-telegrams transmitted to a New Zealand coast-station for places beyond the Dominion, the charge shall be the rates mentioned above for Press radio-telegrams, and in addition thereto, for the onward transmission, the charges published in the table of “Cable Press Rates” in the “New Zealand Post and Telegraph Guide.”

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Resting-place for Traveling Stock in the Waimarino County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1920.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been set aside as a resting-place for travelling stock: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Waimarino County Council :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Waimarino County Council.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 19, Block II, Makotuku Survey District: Area, 2 acres 2 roods.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for metal purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Tauranga County Council :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Tauranga County Council.
