THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Station Outlet Road situated in the Mangapai Riding, the Whangarei County Council makes and levies a special rate of five-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said special rating area, comprising all the area within the following boundary-lines,—
Commencing at the eastern boundary corner of Section N.E. 67, Block XVI, Tangihua Survey District; thence generally south and west by the county boundary (being also the parish boundary) to its junction with the Mangonui River at the south-eastern corner of Section 162, Block II, Matakobe S.D.; thence generally west and north-west by the centre of the said Mangonui River (being also the county boundary) along its course to its junction with the Tauraroa River at the western boundary of Section E.R. 141, Block XVI, Maungaru S.D.; thence generally north-east along the centre of the said Tauraroa main stream to the north-west corner of Section 3, Block VIII, Tangihua S.D.; thence south-east along the north-east boundary-line of Sections 3, S.W. 5, 7, 8, 9, N. 9, S. 9, S.W. 13, to road; thence south-west along the said road to south-west corner of Section S.E. 13; thence generally south by line through Section S.E. 13, north-east boundary-line of Sections 15, 17, to the eastern boundary corner of Section 18, Block XII; thence generally south-west along the southern boundary of the said Section 18 to junction of roads; thence south along the road bounding the east boundary-line of Sections 21, 20, N.E. 24, S.W. 24, to the north-east corner of Section 57, Block XI; thence along the eastern and then the southern boundary-line of Section 57 to the northern boundary corner of Section N.E. 94 on the parish boundary; thence south along road-line (being also the parish boundary) to the north-eastern corner of Section 129; thence west and south along road-line bounding north of Section 129, north and west N. 128, S. 128, 127, N.E. 126 to its cutting into Section 125; thence along the same road-line through the western centre of Section 134 and north portion of 135 to the eastern boundary corner of Section 124; thence along road bounding west and south of the said Section 135 to its southern boundary corner; thence southerly along road-line bounding eastern boundary-line of Section M. 76 to the south-western boundary corner of Section E. 76 (71 acres); thence east along the southern boundary-line of Sections E. 76, W. and E. 77, N. 78, to the north-eastern boundary corner of Section E. 80; thence south along the eastern boundary-line of Section E. 80 to its south-eastern corner; thence east along the southern boundary of Section 78 to the north-western corner of Section 138 (E.R.); thence south along the western boundary-line of Sections 158, N.W. 159, S.E. 159, to the south-western boundary corner of Section S.E. 159, being point of commencement.
Such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 30th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

STRATFORD COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Stratford County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Stratford County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for metalling the Puniwhakau Road from the present end of the metal to Mr. Godkin’s gate, or as far as the money will allow, the said Stratford County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Puniwhakau Road £2,500 Loan Special Rating District, comprising Sections 1 to 16 inclusive, 19, 22, 23, Block IV, Omoa Survey District; Sections 1, 2, 3, 5 to 17 inclusive, Block I, Taurakawa Survey District; Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Block II, Taurakawa Survey District; Sections 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, Block XIII, Mahoe Survey District; and Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, Block XIV, Mahoe Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 30th day of September, 1920, to send their names and addresses, and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any), to John Leslie Griffin, Public Accountant, of 197 Lambton Quay, Wellington, the Liquidator of the said company, and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, are, by their solicitors, or personally, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, a general meeting of John Manttan (Limited), in liquidation, will be held at 152 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the 7th day of September, 1920, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of having laid before the meeting the account of the Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the Company disposed of, and of hearing an explanation thereof given by the Liquidator.

DANNEVIRKE COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf under sections 31, 32, and 33 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1913, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and its amendments, and the Housing Act, 1919, the Dannevirke County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of principal and interest on a loan of £600 raised for the purpose of erecting workers’ dwellings in Mangatoro and Ngapaeruru Ridings, the said Dannevirke County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one two-hundredths of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Dannevirke; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between JOHN VINCENT GRANT and SIDNEY JAMES MCCRAW, carrying on business as Chaff-cutters and Wood-sawers at Beaconsfield, under the style or firm of “Grant and McCraw,” has been dissolved as from the 21st day of August, 1920.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by SIDNEY JAMES MCCRAW, who will continue to carry on the said business.
