Amending Scale of Fees under the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section sixty-two of the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor-General in Council may fix from time to time the fees payable on all proceedings under Parts I to V of the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke as from the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, the Order in Council dated the seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and ten, fixing the fees to be taken in proceedings under the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1908, and in lieu thereof doth hereby fix the fees specified in the Schedule hereto, and doth direct that the same shall from the first-mentioned date be payable on proceedings under Parts I to V of the said Act.

Fixing Fees under the Judicature Act, 1908, in the Court of Appeal.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section seventy-five of the Judicature Act, 1908, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and with the concurrence of the Honourable the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Zealand and the Honourable Mr. Justice Chapman and the Honourable Mr. Justice Sim, two of the Judges of the said Supreme Court, doth hereby fix the fees specified in the Schedule hereto in respect of proceedings in the Court of Appeal, and doth direct that the same shall be payable on and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Whangarei County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made, under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, provided that the rate of interest at which the loans or any of them are to be raised shall in no case produce to the lender a return exceeding five and one-half pounds per centum per annum; and it is
