Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of August, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
On the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted the eleventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown

Extension of Time for Preparation of County Rolls, &c., County of Waimarino.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of August, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
Whereas it has been made to appear that the preparation of the rolls for the County of Waimarino, and the taking of certain steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be made and taken within the times mentioned in the Counties Act, 1908, and it is expedient to extend the said times respectively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said Counties Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the several dates mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be the respective dates for taking the several steps set out in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.

For preparing the rolls for the ridings within the County of Waimarino: Until the 30th day of August, 1920.

Time for which such rolls shall be open for inspection: From the 3rd day of September, 1920, to the 23rd day of September, 1920.

Time for appeals against the said rolls: Until the 30th day of September, 1920.

Revision Courts may sit for hearing applications with reference to the said rolls, and adjourn: Until the 7th day of October, 1920.

Time when the said rolls, having been duly corrected and signed, shall come into force: On the 14th day of October, 1920.

Empowering Maori Land Board to dispose of Lands by way of Sale under the Native Land Act, 1909.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909:
And whereas by subsection three of section two hundred and thirty-nine of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that, notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained in this section, the Governor may by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Board in whose district any such land is situated, in any case in which he is of opinion that an equal division of that land in manner aforesaid would be impracticable or inexpedient in the public interest or in the interests of the owners, authorize the division of that land in any other proportion, or authorize the whole of that land to be disposed of either by sale or lease:
And whereas the Tokerau District Maori Land Board has recommended that it is expedient that all of the lands set out in the Schedule hereto shall be disposed of by way of sale:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby authorize all of the lands set out in the Schedule hereto to be disposed of by way of sale.

Partial Revocation of an Order in Council under Section 296 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of August, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two hundred and ninety-six of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any Order in Council made under Part XVI of that Act, or under Part II of the Native Land Settlement Act, 1907, may be at any time revoked, either wholly or as to any part or parts of the land included therein, by the Governor-General by Order in Council:
And whereas the land set out in the Schedule hereto became subject, by virtue of an Order in Council dated the eighteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eight, to the provisions of Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909:
And whereas the Tairawhiti District Maori Land Board has recommended that such land be no longer subject to Part XVI aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said Order in Council dated the eighteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eight, in so far as such Order in Council affects the lands set out in the Schedule hereto.
