At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of August, 1920.
Present:
His Excellency the Administrator presiding in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wairoa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Cook Islands.—Taking Land in the Island of Niue for Public Purposes.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of August, 1920.

His Excellency the Administrator presiding in Council.
I, SIR ROBERT STOUT, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and fifty-seven of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, do hereby take the land described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Island of Niue, for a public purpose—to wit, for public hospital purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land situate at Tufukia, near Alofi, Island of Niue, bounded on the south-east by the Alofi-Amanau Road, 132 ft.; on the south-west by Native land, 450 ft.; on the north-west by the sea at high water mark, 155 ft.; and on the north-west by the land already acquired as a hospital-site, 360 ft.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block VI, Piako Survey District, to be a Government Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government Road.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a Government road: 8 acres 3 roods 3 perches.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of August, 1920.

His Excellency the Administrator presiding in Council.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted the twentieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in the exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted the fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands (or of any subdivisions thereof) specified in the Schedule hereto, other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
