WHEREAS it has been made to appear that the pre-
paration of the rolls for the County of Grey,
and the taking of certain steps consequent on such pre-
paration, cannot be made and taken within the times
mentioned in the Counties Act, 1908, and it is expedient
to extend the said times respectively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said
Counties Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
both hereby order and declare that the several dates men-
tioned in the Schedule hereto shall be the respective dates
for taking the several steps set out in the said Schedule.

License authorizing Callile George Bouzaid to erect Electric
Lines across McMaster Street in the Borough of Greytown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of
August, 1920.

His Excellency the Administrator Presiding in Council.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
him by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and
of all other powers in anyway enabling him in that behalf,
His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
both, subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule
hereto and to the regulations made under section two of
the aforesaid Act, dated the twenty-second day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, or any regulations
hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution
therefor, and hereinafter collectively referred to as "the
regulations," and which regulations shall be deemed to be
incorporated herein, hereby authorize Callile George Bouzaid,
of Greytown (hereinafter referred to as "the licensee"), to
erect and maintain the electric lines along the route described
in the Schedule hereto for lighting, power, and heating purposes.
SCHEDULE.
- ROUTE OF ELECTRIC LINES AUTHORIZED.
All that route commencing at the Crown Theatre, situated
on Allotment 37, Town of Greytown, and proceeding thence
across the said Allotment 37 and Allotment 39, across Mc-
Master Street to the Town Hall situated on Allotment 41,
Town of Greytown ; as indicated by red lines on the plan
marked P.W.D. 48802, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (a)
of clause 3 of the regulations. The generating voltage shall
be approximately 70 volts between the terminals.
- DATUM TEMPERATURE.
For the purpose of calculating the stresses as provided in
clause 15 of the regulations, the datum temperature shall
be taken as 22 degrees Fahrenheit.
- DURATION OF LICENSE.
This license shall, unless sooner determined in accordance
with the provisions hereinafter expressed, continue in force
for a period of forty-two years from the date hereof. Upon
the expiry of the said term, or upon the sooner determination
of this license by revocation or otherwise, all rights hereby
granted to the licensee shall thereupon cease and determine;
but such expiration or determination shall not relieve the
licensee of any liability theretofore incurred under this
license.
- REQUIREMENTS OF GREYTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained, the
licensee shall not be entitled to erect, maintain, or use any
electric lines within the Borough of Greytown, except sub-
ject to such conditions, not inconsistent with the provisions
of this license and the regulations relating thereto, or any
variation of this license or the regulations, or new regulations
which may take the place of these regulations, as may from
time to time be agreed upon between the licensee and the
Greytown Borough Council.

him by section three of the Land for Settlements Act,
1908, as amended by section five of the Land Laws Amend-
ment Act, 1919, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Thomas Augustus Ecclesfield, Esq., of Kokatahi,
to be a member of the Westland Local Land Purchase Board,
constituted under the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1919, for
the period ending the thirty-first day of December, one thou-
sand nine hundred and twenty-two.
