Commencing at the most northern corner of Section 2375, Block XII, Ahaura Survey District, and proceeding along the north-western boundary of the said section, the north-western boundary of Reserve 754, across a road, and again by the north-western boundary of said Section 2375 produced to the right bank of the Ahaura River; thence along the said river-bank to a point opposite the easterly boundary of Section 30; thence to and along the said boundary and the north-western and western boundary of the said Section 30 produced to the right bank of the Ahaura River; thence along the said bank to the western boundary of Block XII, Ahaura Survey District; thence along the western boundaries of said block and Block VIII, 20800 links; thence in a south-easterly direction, 7500 links; thence due north, 19000 links, to the northern boundary of Block VIII, Ahaura Survey District; thence easterly along the said boundary, 5300 links; thence due north to the south-eastern corner of Section 5; thence generally along the eastern boundary of said Section 5 and across a road reserve to the left bank of the upper Grey River; thence along the said river-bank to a point opposite the north-western boundary of Section 4; thence to and along the said north-western boundary, the south-western boundary, and the south-eastern boundary of said Section 4, the latter boundary produced to the Grey River; thence along the left bank of the said river to a point opposite the north-western boundary of Section 3325; thence to and along the said north-western boundary, across a road, and along the southern side of the said road to a point opposite the south-eastern boundary of the said section; thence to and along the said south-eastern boundary produced to the left bank of the Grey River; thence along the said river-bank to a point opposite the north-western boundary of Section 2824; thence to and along the said boundary, across a road, and again by the said boundary; thence along the south-western boundary of the said section; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said section, across a road reserve, the Clarke River, and again a road reserve, and again along the said boundary; thence along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of said section 2824 produced to the right bank of the Clarke River; thence along the said bank to the confluence of the Clarke and Grey Rivers, and along the left bank of the latter river to a point opposite the north-western corner of Section 3063; thence to and along the western boundary and the southern and eastern boundaries of the said section, the latter boundary produced to the left bank of the Grey River; thence along the said river-bank; thence across the said Grey River and along the northern boundary of the Westland Land District, 18500 links; thence in a south-easterly direction, 26400 links; thence in a westerly direction, 25000 links; thence due north to the southern boundary of Block III, Pohaturoha Survey District, and along the said boundary of Block III and the southern boundary of Block II, 29200 links; thence due south, 11000 links; thence due east to the eastern boundary of Block V, Pohaturoha Survey District; thence along the said block boundary to its south-eastern corner; thence in a north-westerly direction to the western boundary of Block I, Pohaturoha Survey District, 38500 links; thence to the south-eastern corner of said Block I; thence along the southern boundary of Block IV, Ahaura Survey District, 4500 links; thence due south to the southern boundary of Block VIII of the said survey district; thence in a south-easterly direction to a point near Trig. M.E (Mount Elliot), 45000 links; thence due east to the eastern boundary of Section 3081, and along the said boundary to the southern boundary of Section 3242; thence along the said boundary to the south-eastern corner of the said section; thence along the eastern boundaries of said Section 3242 and Section 3241; thence across a road reserve, and again along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 3241; thence across a road reserve, across Safety Camp Creek, and again across a road reserve; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 3240, 3239, and 3048 to a road reserve; thence by the southern side of the said road reserve, crossing to the south-eastern boundary of Section 2375; thence to the eastern corner of the said section; and thence along the north-eastern boundary of said Section 2375, across a road reserve, across Granite Creek, again across a road reserve, and again along the said north-eastern boundary to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 34, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, Robert Stout, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ONGARUE BLOCK.

SECTIONS 1, 2, and 3, Block V, and Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block X, Hurakia Survey District; Section 1, Block V, Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6, Block VI, Sections 2, 3, and 4, Block IX, and Sections 1–8 (inclusive), and 10–14 (inclusive), Block X, Ongarue Survey District: Area, 18,179 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of August, 1920.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.

SECTION 2, Block VIII, Mangonui Survey District: Area, 259 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of August, 1920.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
