M.E (Mount Elliot), 45000 links; thence due east to the eastern boundary of Section 3081, and along the said boundary to the southern boundary of Section 3242; thence along the said boundary to the south-eastern corner of the said section; thence along the eastern boundaries of said Section 3242 and Section 3241; thence across a road reserve, and again along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 3241; thence across a road reserve, across Safety Camp Creek, and again across a road reserve; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 3240, 3239, and 3048 to a road reserve; thence by the southern side of the said road reserve, crossing to the south-eastern boundary of Section 2375; thence to the eastern corner of the said section; and thence along the north-eastern boundary of said Section 2375, across a road reserve, across Granite Creek, again across a road reserve, and again along the said north-eastern boundary to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 34, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, Robert Stout, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ONGARUE BLOCK.

SECTIONS 1, 2, and 3, Block V, and Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block X, Hurakia Survey District; Section 1, Block V, Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6, Block VI, Sections 2, 3, and 4, Block IX, and Sections 1–8 (inclusive), and 10–14 (inclusive), Block X, Ongarue Survey District: Area, 18,179 acres.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
