Consenting to the Raising of a Loan proposed to be raised by the Otago Harbour Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of July, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made, under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the Otago Harbour Board to borrow the sum of two hundred thousand two hundred pounds, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loan of two hundred thousand two hundred pounds by the Otago Harbour Board, provided that the rate of interest at which the loan is to be raised shall in no case produce to the lender a return exceeding five and one-half pounds per centum per annum; and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the loan hereby authorized.

Consenting to Land being taken for the Purposes of a Public School in the City of Auckland.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a public school.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land being taken: 3 acres 3 roods 0·4 perch.
Being the whole or portion of Lots 30 and 32, Allotment 4, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland (City of Auckland).
Situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49077, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

Declaring Hikawera Road, in the Featherston County, to be a County Road.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road known as Hikawera Road, in the Wellington Land District, Featherston County, commencing at its junction with the Pahaoa Road, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections part 15, 13, part 12, part 17, and part 18, Block XVI, Huangarua Survey District, and terminating at a point on the western boundary of the said Section 18; being a distance of 1 mile 20 chains, more or less. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49078, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Wainuioru Valley Road, in the Wairarapa South County, to be a County Road.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Wainuioru Valley Road, in the Wellington Land District, Wairarapa South County, commencing at a point in Section 2 (opposite school reserve), Block V, Wainuioru Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 2, Sections 1 and 3, Ngawaka-a-kupe 4c, Te Wera-a-whaitiri B and A Blocks, Block V, Wainuioru Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Admiral Road; being a distance of three miles, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49210, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
