Poultry-keepers’ Association, and such persons as shall
hereafter be admitted members of the said association
agreeably to the rules of the said association and the provi-
sions of the said Act, into a body corporate under the style
and title of “The Auckland Poultry-keepers’ Association.”

Authorizing the Opotiki Borough Council to erect a Monument
in Main Street, Opotiki, as a Permanent War Memorial.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of
July, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon him by section fifteen of the Finance
Act, 1919, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby approve the provision by the Opotiki Borough
Council of a monument as a permanent memorial of the war
with Germany; and, with the like advice and consent, doth
hereby approve of the erection of such monument on that
portion of Main Street in the Borough of Opotiki described
in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

THAT portion of Main Street in the Borough of Opotiki,
being an area 15 links square, the northern side being parallel
to and distant 65 links from the northern side of the said
street, and the eastern side distant 210 links from the inter-
section of the centre-lines of Church and Main Streets: be
the said linkages more or less.

Boundaries of Borough of Timaru altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of
July, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, in pursuance of section fourteen of the
Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, a
petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that
a certain area be excluded from the County of Levels and
included in the Borough of Timaru:

And whereas a Commission appointed under the said sec-
tion held inquiries, and recommended certain alterations of
the said area:

And whereas it is deemed expedient to make the altera-
tions of the boundaries of the said borough recommended by
the said Commission:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the said Municipal Corpora-
tions Amendment Act, 1913, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby declare that on and from the first
day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one,
the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded
from the County of Levels and included in the Borough of
Timaru.


SCHEDULE.

AREA INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH OF TIMARU.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated in
Block I, Patiti Survey District, bounded by a line commencing
at the north-western corner of Lot 3, D.P. 2306, and proceed-
ing thence in a westerly direction along the southern side of
the Coonor Road to the northernmost corner of Lot 1,
D.P. 1332; thence along the north-eastern and south-eastern
boundaries of that lot to the northernmost corner of Lot 4,
D.P. 1080, and along the north-eastern and south-eastern
boundaries of that lot to its southernmost corner; thence
south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Rural
Section 1690 to the Otipua Creek, and down the left bank of
that creek to the southernmost corner of Lot 42, D.P. 437;
thence to and along the north-western and north-eastern
boundaries of Rural Section 1700 to the western boundary
of Rural Section 1730, and along that boundary to the south-

western corner of Lot 48, D.P. 3433; thence along the south-
western boundary of the said Lot 48 to its southernmost
corner, along a right line to the south-western corner of
Lot 47 of the said D.P., and along the south-western bound-
aries of Lots 47, 46, 45, 44, 43, 42, 41, 40, and 39, D.P. 3433;
thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 37
of the said D.P. 3433, and along the south-western boundary
of that lot to the eastern boundary of Rural Section 1730,
along the said boundary to the southernmost corner of that
section, and along a right line to the northernmost corner of
the area shown on D.P. 1128, along the eastern boundaries
of that land to the main South Road; thence north-easterly
along the north-western side of that road to the boundary
of the Borough of Timaru as described in New Zealand Gazette,
1910, page 1628, and north-westerly along the said boundary
to the north-western corner of Lot 3, D.P. 2306, the point
of commencement.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block II, Mapara Survey
District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of
July, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zea-
land, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and declare that the portion of road described in the Sche-
dule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become a Government road.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road declared to be a
Government road:—

0 0 28·5} Adjoining or passing through Rangitoto-
1 0 28 3} Tuhua 68c.

Situated in Block II, Mapara Survey District (Taranaki
R.D.).

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42357,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zea-
land, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and declare that the portion of road described in the Sche-
dule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become a Government road.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a
Government road: 4 acres 3 roods 12 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 55 and 75, Mara-
maru Parish, Block I, Piako Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 21006.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48692,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.
