A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the Nelson Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourteenth day of that month, the land described in the Schedule hereto was declared to be a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 :

And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the destruction of the bush thereon :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 46 acres, more or less, being two islands in the Maruia River, known as Section No. 4, Block IV, Rahu Survey District, situated to the westward of Section No. 1, Block IV, Rahu Survey District aforesaid. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 55636/1B, deposited
