ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the south-east corner of Block LXXX, Rangitikei District, with the southern side of Bond Street Extension as shown on plan No. 1906, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction across that street and along the western boundary of Allotment No. 6 on the aforesaid plan to its north-western corner; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 on plan No. 1906 aforesaid; thence by a right line to the north-western corner of part of the subdivision of Block XXXVIII, Rangitikei District, shown on plan mark A/1839, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence by lines bearing 103° 58′ 40″ for a distance of 271·5 links, 107° 4′ distance 761 links, 107° 14′ distance 652·5 links, and 109° 18′ distance 461·5 links, as shown on plan marked A/312, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, to the western side of the Upper Tutaenui Road at angle peg No. V; thence by a right line across the aforesaid road to the north-western corner of Allotment No. 11 on plan No. 1669, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence towards the east and south-east generally by the northern and eastern boundaries of Allotment No. 11, and by the eastern boundary of Allotment No. 13 produced to its intersection with the southern side of Calico Road line as shown on plan No. 1669 aforesaid; thence towards the east by the southern side of Calico Road line to Bredins Road; thence towards the south by the western side of Bredins Road and the production thereof to the middle of Accommodation Road; thence towards the east by a right line across Bredins Road aforesaid to the north-western corner of the subdivision of part of Block VIII, Rangitikei District, shown on plan No. 4409, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence towards the east and south by the aforesaid subdivision of Block VIII and the eastern boundary thereof produced to and across the extension of High Street to its intersection with the northern boundary of the subdivision of part of Block VIII, Rangitikei District, owned and occupied by R. Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of the Mangawara River District.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under section 3 of the River Boards Amendment Act, 1913, by a majority of the ratepayers of the area described in the Schedule hereto, praying that such area may be excluded from the Mangawara River District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM MANGAWARA RIVER DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District commencing at the south-west corner of Lot 1 (on L.T. plan 6566); thence north-westerly along the boundary of Subdivision 4 (Mangawara River District) described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 412, to the Tauhei Stream; thence in an easterly direction and generally along the southern boundaries of Subdivisions 2 and 3 (Mangawara River District) described in the said New Zealand Gazette to the south-east corner of land shown on L.T. plan 7616; thence south-easterly and westerly generally along the boundary of the Mangawara River District as described in the said New Zealand Gazette to the point of commencement.
