Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Karioi Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of May, 1920.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Karioi Domain :

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JAMES THOMAS KENNEDY,
CECIL HUGH GAMBLE CARPENTER,
SAMUEL STANLEY COX, and
WALTER JACOB STEPHENS,

as from the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Karioi Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fourteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Cox’s Store, Karioi, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

KARIOI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 102 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block VI, Karioi Survey District. Bounded towards the west and north generally by the Omarae Stream and by Crown lands, being part of the Rangiwaea 4f No. 1 Block; towards the east generally by the Waitaiki Stream; towards the south-west by the abutment of a road, by Crown land, and by a stream-diversion to the Omarae Stream aforesaid. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/372, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Stratford Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of May, 1920.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twelfth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the seventeenth day of that month, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Stratford Domain :

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL,

as from the twelfth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, to be the Stratford Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Council Chambers, Stratford, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

STRATFORD DOMAIN.

ALL those areas in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 83 acres 1 rood 2 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 24 to 33, 36, 37, 38, 67 to 76, 79, 80, 81, 111 to 124, 150 to 163, 470 to 484, 509 to 518, 542 to 551, 574 to 581, 607 to 619, 639 to 651, 781, 858, 935, and 936 in the Township of Stratford, and Section 28, Block I, Ngaiire Survey District. As the same are delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1347/11A and 1347/11B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Declaring Portion of Marae Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of May, 1920.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Marae Road, in the Auckland Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at a point 1 mile 18 chains from its junction with the Mangapuhoe Road, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through portion of Kinohaku West “O” No. 1 Block, Block XV, Kawhia South Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Waitomo County boundary; being a distance of forty-five chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48636, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.
