the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of effecting road

of the portion of the North Riding of the County of Stratford
lying east of the Mountain Road, the said Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one penny and one-eighth
of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on
the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in
the whole of the portion of the North Riding of the said
county lying east of the Mountain Road; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of February in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and
of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Stratford County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Stratford
County Council Road Improvements (South Riding) Loan
of £4,700, 1920, authorized to be raised by the Council, under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of effecting road
improvements in and purchasing machinery for the South
Riding of the County of Stratford, the said Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one penny halfpenny (1½d.)
in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of
unimproved value) of all rateable property in the South
Riding of the said county; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of February in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.

property in the East Riding of the said county; and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of February in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

West Riding of the said county; and that such special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of February
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between the undersigned, carrying on business as Dentists at Auckland under the style or firm-name
of “H. P. R. Foster and J. L. Foster,” has been dissolved as
from the 5th day of March, 1920, by mutual consent so far
as concerns the said JOHN LYON FOSTER, who retires from
the said firm. All debts due to and owing by the said late
firm will be received and paid respectively by the said HARRY
PERCY RAE FOSTER.

OHURA FARMERS’ UNION CLUB (INCORPORATED).
THE following special resolutions were passed at a general
meeting of members held in the Club Room, Ohura,
on 8th April, 1920, and confirmed by a special general meeting of members convened for the purpose and held in the
same place on 8th May, 1920:
“That the Ohura Farmers’ Union Club (Incorporated) go
into voluntary liquidation, and appoint a Liquidator to wind
up the interests of the club at as early a date as possible.”
“That Mr. G. DENISON, of Ohura, be and he is hereby
appointed Liquidator to wind up the club.”
