KAITIEKE COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kaitieke County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £150 (being 10 per cent. of £1,500), authorized to be raised by the Kaitieke County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and more particularly by section 18 of that Act, for the purpose of completing the reforming and metalling of portion of the main road, Raurimu Township, the said Kaitieke County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-fifths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Raurimu Township Special Rating Area, comprising, inter alia, the Township of Raurimu, and being the rateable properties within the following boundaries,—

Commencing at the junction of the Arline Stream with the Piopiotea Stream, and following the Arline Stream to the North Island Main Trunk Railway line; thence by such railway-line in a north-easterly direction, and crossing same by a right angle to the northern corner of Section 15, Block X, said township, and to the eastern side of the main service road; thence south-easterly by such road to the north-eastern corner of Section 14, Block XI, said township; thence by the eastern boundary of Block XI aforesaid to the said main service road; thence by such road in an easterly direction for approximately a distance of twelve chains; thence by a straight line at right angles to such road to the said Arline Stream; thence by such stream in a westerly direction to the main road, Raurimu Township; thence by such road in a south-westerly direction to the said railway-line; thence by such railway-line in a southerly direction to a point produced by a straight line from the southern boundary of Lot 2, part railway reserve (occupied by one B. L. Knight); thence by such produced line to and along the said southern boundary of said Lot 2 to the said Piopiotea Stream; thence following such stream generally in a northerly direction to its junction with the said Arline Stream, being the point of commencement.

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

RANGIORA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities it thereunto enabling, the Rangiora County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Rangiora County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out and paying for the work of electrical reticulation, erecting mains, and providing all material and things necessary or incidental to supplying the Rangiora Riding of the county with electric power from Lake Coleridge, the said Rangiora County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth (1/10th) of a penny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the whole of the Rangiora Riding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the seventh day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

(1.) That the company be wound up voluntarily.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL.

WHAREROTO ROAD SUPPLEMENTARY LOAN.—RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Featherston County Council resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of interest and principal and also the other charges on a loan of £60, authorized to be raised by the Featherston County Council, under section 18 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the first time of metalling the Whareroto Road (being 10 per cent. additional of the Whareroto Road Loan of £600, 1919, authorized to be raised by the Council, under section 16E of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, such latter amount being insufficient to complete the works for which such loan was raised), the Featherston County Council hereby appropriates and pledges a special rate of one-twelfth (1/12th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value of all rateable properties within the Whareroto Road Special Rating District, the several properties embraced in such district being more particularly described in a resolution passed on the 14th day of March, 1919, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 3rd day of April, 1919, at page 940; and this special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan has been fully paid off.

DRY RIVER BRIDGE SUPPLEMENTARY LOAN.—RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of interest and principal and also the other charges on a loan of £120, authorized to be raised by the Featherston County Council, under section 18 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the construction of the Dry River Bridge (being 10 per cent. additional of the Dry River Bridge Loan of £1,200 authorized to be raised by the Council, under section 16E of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, such latter amount being insufficient to complete the works for which such loan was raised), the Featherston County Council hereby appropriates and pledges a special rate of one forty-third (1/43rd) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value of all rateable properties within the Dry River Bridge Special Rating District, the boundaries of which special district are more particularly described in a resolution passed on the 14th day of February, 1919, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 6th of March, 1919, at page 668; and this special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
