COUNTY OF THAMES.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Thames (a body corporate under and by virtue of the Counties Act, 1908) proposes, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the above-mentioned Acts, to undertake and execute a certain public work—namely, a road (Warahoe-Towers Road); and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the Thames County Council in the County Chambers, Mary Street, Thames, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the 11th day of May, 1920 (being the date of the first publication of this notice), to the said Council at the office of the Clerk aforesaid.

MEDICAL REGISTRATION.
I, DR. UGO SIACCI, Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, Univ. Naples, now residing in Victoria Avenue, Remuera, Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 11th June next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths at Auckland.

MORRINSVILLE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Morrinsville Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Morrinsville Town Board Water-supply Loan of £45,000, 1920, authorized to be raised by the Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing a water-supply for the Town District of Morrinsville, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of sixpence and one farthing (6¼d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Town District of Morrinsville; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE OVER THE RAGLAN-WAIPA SPECIAL RATING AREA AS SECURITY FOR LOAN OF £800.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and all other Acts it in that behalf enabling, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £800, authorized to be raised by the Raglan County Council, under the provisions of the Counties Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and amendments thereto, and all other Acts (if any) it in that behalf enabling, and with the consent of the Governor-General in Council as gazetted on page 1059 of the New Zealand Gazette, 1920, for the purpose of completing the formation and metalling of the Raglan-Waipa main road within the Raglan-Waipa Special Rating District of the County of Raglan, this loan being an additional amount of ten per cent. on the original loan of £8,000 raised by the said Council for the purpose of forming and metalling the Raglan-Waipa main road within the Raglan-Waipa Special Rating District of the said county, and which the original loan of £8,000 has not been sufficient to complete, the aforesaid sum of £800 to be expended in completing the works authorized in the original loan proposal, the Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Raglan-Waipa Special Rating District of the said county.
The boundaries of the said special rating district are as follows: Commencing at the north-western corner of Section 63 of Block XIV, Whaingaroa Survey District, thence running east and north along the northern boundaries of Sections 63, 63A, to the Ohautira Stream; thence south along the said Ohautira Stream, taking in portions of Sections 63F and 63, to the south-east corner of Section 63C; thence west along the southern boundary of Section 63C to the south-west corner of the same section; thence south and east, taking in portions of Sections 64, 66, 66B No. 3, and 66B No. 2, to the south-eastern corner of Section 69; thence south along the eastern boundaries of Sections 42, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 11 to the south-east corner of Section 11; thence south along the eastern boundary of Section 3 to the south-east boundary of Section 3; thence south and west along the eastern and southern boundaries of Sections 67, 66, 65, 64, 63, 62, 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, 56, and 55 to the south-western boundary of Section 55; thence south along the eastern boundaries of Runs Nos. 1 and 4 to the south-eastern boundary of Run No. 4; thence along the southern boundary of Run No. 4 and the eastern boundaries of Sections, Crown land, Puketapu, 218 and 215, to the south-east corner of Section 215; thence along the southern boundaries of Sections 215, 210, and 207, and the western boundaries of Sections 207, 166, 165, 164, 163, 162, 161, to the county boundary-line; thence running west and south along the county boundary-line to the coast-line at the north-eastern corner of Section 8008D, Te Pahi; and thence following the coast-line south, north, and east to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, and the rate of interest to be paid to be four pounds ten shillings
