“(1.) That the Nuhaka 2A 4A 6B Block be leased to James Middleton Taylor, of Opoho, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental not less than 5 per cent. per annum on the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum on the then unimproved valuation of the said land.
“(2.) That the Nuhaka 2A 4A 6B Block be sold to James Middleton Taylor, of Opoho, sheep-farmer, at a price not less than the capital valuation of the said land.”
NOTE.—The capital value of the block is £1,173.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2C 2F Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Nuhaka on Friday, the 18th day of June, 1920, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the Nuhaka 2C 2F Block be leased to Eru Turakitai Cooper, of Gisborne, licensed interpreter, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken.”
NOTE.—The capital value of the block is £73.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whataroa Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 16th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“(1.) That the Whataroa Block be leased to Tupara Rotoatara, of Wairoa, returned soldier, for the term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum on the present capital valuation of the land, with the right to compensation for all improvements effected by the lessee during the said term.
“(2.) That a lease of the Whataroa Block be granted to Henare Wairama Ramupata (Henry Wairama Lambert), of Wairoa, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum on the present Government valuation, with the right to compensation for improvements effected by the lessee during the lease.
“(3.) That the Whataroa Block be sold to Henare Wairama Ramupata (Henry Wairama Lambert), of Wairoa, farmer, at a price equal to the present Government valuation of the said land.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tuahu 3D 2 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 16th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the Tuahu 3D 2 Block be leased to Ihaka Ranapia, Ruakituri, Native, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental not less than 5 per cent. per annum on the present capital valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to the then unimproved value of the land.”
NOTE.—The capital value of this block is £298.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Raupo Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 16th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“(1.) That the Raupo Block be sold to Numi te Rangi, of Wairoa, farmer, for the sum of £2 10s. per acre, equivalent to £240 12s. 6d. for the whole area.
“(2.) That the Raupo Block be leased to Numi te Rangi for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental of 5 per cent. per annum on the present Government valuation, with the right to compensation for all improvements effected by the lessee.”
NOTE.—The capital value of this block is £237.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Taumataoteo 12A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Wednesday, the 16th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the Taumataoteo 12A Block be leased to Kingi Winiata, contractor, of Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, at the yearly rental of £2 per acre for a term of ten years.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tukamore No. 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Manutahi on Tuesday, the 15th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“(1.) That a lease of the said land be granted to Frederic Reader Jefford, of Ruatorea, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. on the Government valuation of the said land, with the right to renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. of the then Government valuation, or alternatively with the right to compensation for improvements affected during the said term.
“(2.) That a lease of the Tukamore No. 3 Block be granted to Rutu Tawhiorangi, of Ruatorea, aboriginal Native, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. on the present Government capital valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved valuation of the land plus the present value of the improvements thereon.
“(3.) That a lease of the said land be granted to Tangi Kaiwai, wife of Timoti Kaiwai, of Ruatorea, Native, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental not less than 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation of the said land,
