present lease, at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. on the
present Government valuation of the said land.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of
Waipiro 4D Block is summoned and will be held, in pur-
suance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at
Manutahi on Tuesday, the 15th day of June, 1920, at
10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering
the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Waipiro 4D Block be leased to Tuahine Hikitapua
for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental of 12s.
per acre, with the right to a renewal for a further term of
twenty-one years at a rental to be agreed on, but not less
than 5 per cent. on the then Government unimproved valua-
tion, or with the right to compensation for improvements
effected by the lessee in the event of the renewal not being
taken.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Herupara No. 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in
pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at
Manutahi on Tuesday, the 15th day of June, 1920, at 10.30
o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the
following proposed resolution:—
“ That a lease of the said land be given to Henare Mata-
uku, of Kahukura, Native, settler, for a term of twenty-one
years, at a rental of not less than 5 per cent. on the present
Government valuation of the said land, together with the
right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at
a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then Government unim-
proved valuation of the said land, or with the right to com-
pensation for improvements in the event of the renewal
not being taken.”

of not less than 5 per cent. on the then Government unim-
proved valuation, or with compensation for improvements
in the event of the renewal not being taken.”

upon the said land, and which are unexhausted on the termi-
nation of the said term.”
