THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 2E 2B 8 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Thursday, the 10th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Marangairoa 2E 2B 8 Block be leased to Poneke Huihui, of Port Awanui, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental of £5 per centum per annum on the Government unimproved valuation of the said land, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 2E 2B 6 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Thursday, the 10th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Marangairoa 2E 2B 6 Block be leased to Hemi Mahunu, of Te Araroa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. on the present Government unimproved valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land.”

“That the said land be sold to Rauhina te Hau for the sum of £150.”

NOTE.—The capital value of this block is £1,415; unimproved value, £150; and lessee’s interest, £1,365.

“That the Awapuni 1G 3 Block be sold to Rauhina te Hau for the sum of £475.”

NOTE.—The present capital value of the block is £36 10s. per acre.

“That the Awapuni 1F 4C Block be leased to the Poverty Bay Golf Club for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental of not less than 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to the then unimproved valuation of the said land.”

NOTE.—The present capital value of the block is £190.
