Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Okataina No. 4 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Rotorua on Monday, the 7th day of June, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a portion of the rent be devoted towards a monument in honour of Maori soldiers from Te Arawa Tribe who fought in great war, 1914–1920.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Okoheriki 2c No. 4c No. 4 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Rotorua on Monday, the 7th day of June, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a proposed alienation of the land by way of lease to Samuel Dixon shall be agreed to.”

“ That a proposed alienation of the land by way of lease to Samuel Dixon shall be agreed to.”

“ That a proposed alienation of the land by way of sale to William Sydney George Bridle shall be agreed to.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1c 1A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Thursday, the 10th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Marangairoa 1c 1A Block be leased to Tutere Poi, otherwise known as Joe Poi, for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum on the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved valuation of the land.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1A 5 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Thursday, the 10th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a lease of the said land be granted to Wi Waikare, of Port Awanui, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of £5 per cent. per annum on the Government unimproved value of the said land, with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years.”

“ That the Tihiomanono 4J Block be leased to Parekura Tureia and Akuhata Kawakawa for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. on the present Government unimproved valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 2E 2B 10 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Thursday, the 10th day of June, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Marangairoa 2E 2B 10 Block be leased to James Neville Davis-Colley for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental of 5s. per acre; that the lessee shall pay £3 per acre for the improved portion, with the right of renewal over whole block for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental to be agreed on, but not being less than 5 per cent. on the then Government unimproved value, or with compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken.”
