Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Pourewa No. 5 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tolaga Bay on Wednesday, the 25th day of February, 1920, 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said Pourewa No. 5 Block be sold to Jessie Edith Loisel for the sum of £10 an acre.”

NOTE.—The present valuation of the block is £20.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1A 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of the Marangairoa 1A 3 Block be granted to Ema Aramakuta of Te Araroa, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental of 5 per cent. of the Government valuation, with compensation for improvements.”

NOTE.—The Government capital valuation of the land is £600.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whetumatarau 7B 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—

“That the Whetumatarau 7B 3 Block be leased to Taipari Houkamau Brown, of Te Araroa, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental not to be less than 5 per cent. of the Government capital valuation of the land, with the right to compensation for improvements effected during the said term of twenty-one years.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whetumatarau No. 4 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of Whetumatarau No. 4 Block be granted to Riwai Rangihuna for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental of 5 per cent. on the Government valuation of the land, together with the right to compensation for improvements at the end of the term.”

NOTE.—The capital valuation of the land is £758.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whetumatarau No. 4 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That Whetumatarau No. 4 Block be leased to Wiremu Akuhata, of Te Araroa, aboriginal Native, for the term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. of the Government valuation, with a right to compensation for improvements.”

NOTE.—The Government capital value of the land is £758.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Matakaoa Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the land or any part thereof shall be accepted.”

NOTE.—The capital valuation in the block of the owners’ interest is £5,070.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharekahika 17A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Wharekahika 17A Block be leased to Charles Arthur Hart, of Hick’s Bay, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental of 5 per cent. of present Government valuation.”

NOTE.—The present capital value of the land is £316.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tihiomanono 4c Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of Tihiomanono 4c Block be granted to Apiata Apanui, of Te Araroa, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental of not less than 5 per cent. of the Government capital valuation of the said land, with the right of compensation for improvements effected during the said term of twenty-one years.”

NOTE.—The present valuation of the land is £1,980.
