APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 3 acres 0 roods 11·3 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 1, 6, 7, and 8, Block III, Township of Danielstown, and Section 21, Block IV, Jacob’s River Hundred (Southland R.D.).

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46632, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of Road, in the Hawke’s Bay County, to be a County Road.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of March, 1920.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR WILLIAM FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, commencing at the north-western corner of Section 11, Block IV, Puketapu Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 11 and Petane No. 1 Block, and terminating at the northernmost corner of Section 3, Pakuratahi Block, Block VIII, Puketapu Survey District; being a distance of one mile one chain, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48256, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked G-H.

Declaring Beattie Settlement Road, in the Hawke’s Bay County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

ALL that road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, known as the Beattie Settlement Road, commencing at its junction with the Napier-Taupo main road near the north-eastern corner of Section 1s, Block VI, Puketapu Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 1s and Section 2s, Block X, Puketapu Survey District, and terminating at the northern boundary of Section 3s, Block X, Puketapu Survey District; being a distance of one mile, more or less. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48279, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the street described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Lower Hutt Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that street, situated in Wellington Land District, Borough of Lower Hutt, known as Melling Street, comprising 3 roods 2·5 perches (originally part of Section 75, Hutt), Block VIII, Belmont Survey District. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48244, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
