and 6, Block IV, the north-western boundaries of Section 6,
Block IV, and Sections 1 and 2, Block III, Heringa Survey
District, to the south branch of the Tinline River; thence
in a westerly direction by that river to the reserve for the
growth and preservation of timber; and thence in a north-
eastern direction generally by the boundaries of the said
reserve to the point of commencement. As the same is
delineated on plan marked 84, in green, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.
Also all that area of land in the Marlborough Land Dis-
trict, being Section 7, Block VII, Heringa Survey District,
containing an area of 795 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the north generally by Section 3, Block VII, Heringa
Survey District; towards the east generally by Section 8,
said Block VII; towards the south and south-west generally
by the Heringa Stream; and towards the north-west by the
reserve for the growth and preservation of timber to the
point of commencement. As the same is delineated on plan
marked 84, in green, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All those areas of Crown land in the Westland Land Dis-
trict, situate in Blocks VIII and XII, Okarito Survey Dis-
trict, being Reserve No. 1699, containing by admeasure-
ment 1,700 acres, more or less. Commencing at the north-
eastern corner of Block VIII, Okarito Survey District, and
proceeding along the eastern boundary of that block to the
northern shore of the Okarito Lagoon; thence by the said
shore of that lagoon and the southern and eastern shores of
Lake Windemere to the northern boundary of the said
Block VIII; and thence along the said boundary to the
point of commencement. And commencing at the mouth
of Orok Creek, and proceeding along the eastern shore of
the Okarito Lagoon to the eastern boundary of Block VIII,
Okarito Survey District; thence along the said block bound-
ary in a southerly direction to Patrickโs Creek; thence in a
south-westerly direction to a point on the right-hand bank
of Orok Creek, in a line with the south-eastern side of a
road reserve; and thence along the said creek-bank to the
point of commencement. As the same is delineated on
sheet 43, roll map 450, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that parcel of land in the Southland Land District,
containing by estimation 91,848 acres, more or less, being
part of Clontonside, Swinton, Eglinton, Te Anau, Snowdon,
Black Hill, and Mavora Survey Districts, and bounded as
follows: Commencing at the north-west corner of Swinton
Survey District; thence due north to the southern boundary
of the Otago Mining District; thence easterly along the said
boundary to the bush edge; thence in a southerly and
easterly direction along the said bush edge to where it in-
tersects the eastern boundary of Snowdon Survey District
at a point about twenty chains to the south-east of Trig. G,
Snowdon Survey District aforesaid; thence due north along
the aforesaid east boundary for a distance of 370 chains;
thenoe north-easterly along the bush edge to the western
shore of Lake Mavora; thence in a southerly direction along
the said shore, the Mararoa River, the western shore of Lake
South Mavora, and again south-westerly along the Mararoa
River to where it intersects the eastern boundary of Block 6,
Snowdon Survey District aforesaid; thence south along
the said eastern boundary to the bush edge; thence in a
generally southerly and westerly direction along the said
bush edge and the north-western boundary of Run 389
(being the boundary of the university endowment) to a
point on the south boundary of Snowdon Survey District
aforesaid about thirty chains south-west of Trig. J; thence
south-westerly and again northerly along the university
endowment boundary to the aforesaid south boundary
of Snowdon Survey District; thence north-easterly and
again south-westerly round the head of the gorge past Lime-
stone Hill following the university endowment boundary to
where the south-east boundary of Run 301B meets the bush
edge in Block 1, Te Anau Survey District; thence in a
northerly direction along the bush, being the eastern boundary
of Run 301B (being the boundary of educational endow-
ment), to the south boundary of Block 7, Te Anau Survey
District aforesaid; thence easterly along aforesaid south
boundary of Block VII to the Snowdon Survey District
boundary; thence due north along the east boundaries
of Blocks VII and XII, Te Anau Survey District; thence
westerly along the northern boundary of Block XII afore-
said to the edge of the bush; thence by the bush edge to the
National Park boundary; thence northerly along the National
Park boundary to the bush edge; thence east along the bush
edge aforesaid to the western boundary of Swinton Survey
District; thence north along the said boundary to the point

of commencement. As the same is delineated on plau
marked 90, in green, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that parcel of land in the Southland Land District
and situate in the Clontonside Survey District, containing
640 acres, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing
at a point on the Otago Mining District boundary one mile
west of Moffat Peak; thence westerly along the said boundary
to the bush edge, being a distance of about one mile and a half;
thence south-westerly, southerly, and north-easterly along
the bush edge to the point of commencement. As the same
is delineated on plan marked 90, in green, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in me by the Marriage Act, 1908, I, Arthur
William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish
the existing marriage districts known as the Ohinemuri and
Te Aroha districts, and do proclaim and declare that the
territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is
hereby divided anew into two marriage districts, the names
and boundaries whereof shall be as follows:
OHINEMURI DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by
a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the Piako
River due west of the confluence of the Hikutaia River with
the Waihou or Thames River; thence by a right line due
east to the said confluence; thence up the Hikutaia River
to a point due north of the north-eastern corner of Uriwha
Block; thence by a right line due south to the said north-
eastern corner; thence by the eastern boundary-line of the
said Uriwa Block, the northern and eastern boundaries of
Ngatitamatera Block, and the eastern boundary of Ohinemuri
No. 6 Block to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned
block; thence by a right line running due south to the
Ohinemuri River; thence down that river to and up the
Waitawheta River to the northern boundary of Block VI,
Aroha Survey District; thence westerly along the said
northern boundary to the eastern boundary of Section 23,
Block V, Aroha Survey District; thence along the eastern,
northern, and western boundaries of the said Section 23 to
the Waitoki Stream; thence down that stream and the
Waihou River to the northern corner of Te Awaiti No. 7
Block; thence along the north-western boundaries of Te
Awaiti Nos. 7 and 5 to the westernmost corner of the last-
mentioned block; thence by a right line to the north-eastern
corner of the Whatitokorua E Block; thence along the
northern boundary of that block to the Piako River, and
down that river to the point of commencement.
TE AROHA DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by
a line commencing on the Piako River at the north-west
corner of the Whatitokorua E Block; thence easterly along
the northern boundary of that block to the Waitoa River;
thence by a right line to the westernmost corner of Te Awaiti
No. 5 Block; thence by the north-western boundaries of Te
Awaiti Nos. 5 and 7 to the Waihou River; thence up that
river and the Waitoki Stream to the western boundary of
