Section 23, Block V, Aroha Survey District; thence along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of that section to the northern boundary of Block VI, Aroha Survey District; thence along said boundary of Block VI to the Waitawheta River; thence up that river to its intersection by a right line between Te Aroha Mountain and the mouth of the Waihi River; thence south-westerly along that line to the Tauranga confiscation boundary-line; thence south-easterly along that line to the Wairere Stream; thence down that stream and the Waihou River to the south-eastern corner of Section 12, Block X, Wairere Survey District; thence along the southern boundaries of Sections 12 and 14 to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of the Pourewa Block in Block IV, Maungakawa Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of Pourewa Block to western boundary of Block IV, Maungakawa Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary and the western boundaries of Blocks XVI and XII, Waitoa Survey District, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 12A of Section 24, Block XI, Waitoa Survey District; thence along the south-eastern, south-western, north-western, and north-eastern boundaries of that lot to the western boundary of Block XII, Waitoa Survey District, and along that boundary to a point due west of Te Aroha Mountain; thence by a right line due west to the Piako River, and down that river to the point of commencement.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fourth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Boundaries of Districts under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1908, altered.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Ohinemuri and Te Aroha districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into two registration districts, the names whereof shall be the Ohinemuri and Te Aroha districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be conterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names, as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Additional Land at Blenheim taken for the Purposes of the Picton-Hurunui Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Picton-Hurunui Railway to take further land at Blenheim, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Borough of Blenheim. (S.O. 1264.)

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 27074, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink and blue.
