Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the regulations made under the said Acts on the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the twenty-ninth day of May then instant, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the following regulations for the purpose of the said Acts.

REGULATIONS.

  1. EACH member of the Board of Public Health, not being an officer of the Public Service, shall be paid the sum of £1 10s. for every day on which he attends a meeting of the Board, together with the sum of £1 10s. for every night during which he is necessarily absent from his home by reason of such attendance.

  2. In all claims by any such member for payment of the travelling-expenses reasonably incurred by him in attending meetings of the Board and in transacting the business thereof, full particulars shall be shown for the purpose of audit, and, except in the case of train fares, ordinary steamer fares, and ordinary coach fares, receipts for all payments made in excess of 5s. shall accompany the claim.
