Library Hall, Mangatainoka, as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.

MANGATAINOKA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Sec-
tions Nos. 30, 31, and 32, Mangatainoka Village Settlement.
Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 83, Pahiatua
Village Settlement, 467.6 links; towards the north-east by
Section No. 33, 500 links; towards the south-east by Main
Road, 429.7 links and 230.3 links; and towards the south-
west by Cross Road, 443.6 links: be all the aforesaid link-
ages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 1366/14A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 21 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more
or less, being Section No. 79, Pahiatua Village Settlement.
Bounded towards the north-west by river-bank south, 1116.8
links; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 82 and 78,
1884 links; towards the south-east by Main Road, 1100.2
links; and towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 84 and
80, 2076.7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less:
as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
1366/14B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifth day
of March, 1920.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the
said Act"), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from
time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control
of such domain:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain
Board to control the Kaihere Domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby appoint
WILLIAM BENNY,
FREDERICK DICKER BIRD,
ALBERT PALMERSTON DOUSLIN,
DAVID DOWNS,
KENNETH MORRISON,
THOMAS ROSS,
WILLIAM JOHN SENIOR,
WILLIAM JAMES SUCKLING, and

to be the Kaihere Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and

appoint Saturday, the third day of April, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time
when, and Mrs. Wallace's Store, Kaihere, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
KAIHERE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 17.4 perches, more or less,
being Sections 6 and 7, Block I, Kaihere Village. Bounded
towards the north-west by the Ngarua Road, 435.06 and
265.58 links; on the north-east by Section 8, Block I, Kai-
here Village, 404.73 links; towards the south-east and south-
west by river-bank reserve along the Ngarua Stream, 209.42,
246.3, 255.42, and 282.52 links respectively; and towards
the west by Section 5, Block I, of the aforesaid village,
410.34 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/652,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Prohibiting the Importation into New Zealand of certain Articles.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifth day
of March, 1920.

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section ninety-five of the Public Health
Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General
may, by Order in Council, from time to time prohibit the
importation into New Zealand of any material which in his
opinion is likely to convey infectious disease:
And whereas it is expedient that the importation of the
undermentioned articles should be prohibited in order to
prevent the conveyance of anthrax:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the said power and authority,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Execu-
tive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare
that the importation into New Zealand of the material enu-
merated below is hereby prohibited save under the conditions
stipulated.
SCHEDULE.
- TOILET brushes or toilet articles containing or made from
the hair of animals-
(a.) If manufactured in Eastern or South-eastern Asia,
India, Ceylon, Japan, the East India Island, and
the Philippine Islands ; or
(b.) If manufactured in other countries and deemed in the
opinion of the Collector of Customs likely to convey
anthrax:
Unless the said brushes or articles are disinfected at the
expense of the importer to the satisfaction of the District
Health Officer.
- Animal wool, hair, including "drafts" or "drawn"
hair, and bristles-
(a.) If grown in Eastern or South-eastern Asia, India,
Ceylon, Japan, the East India Island, and the
Philippine Islands; or
(b.) If grown in other countries and deemed in the opinion
of the Collector of Customs likely to convey anthrax:
Unless the said wool, hair, or bristles are disinfected at the
expense of the importer to the satisfaction of the District
Health Officer.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifth day of

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of the Fire Brigades Act,
1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is pro-
vided that the Governor-General may by Order in Council,
on the application of any Borough Council, declare the
district within the jurisdiction of such Borough Council to
be a fire district under the said Act: And whereas an
application has been made by the Te Aroha Borough Council
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and it
appears expedient to grant the said application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare the Borough of Te Aroha to be a fire district under
the said Act.
