SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, commencing at its junction with a public road at the north-western corner of Section 7, Block XV, Maungaharuru Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 7, Block XV, Maungaharuru Survey District, Sections 3 and 4 and Petane No. 1 Block, Block III, Puketapu Survey District, and terminating at the north-western corner of Section 11, Block IV, Puketapu Survey District; being a distance of 4 miles 10 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48004, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green and marked F-G.

Declaring Portion of Prentice Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifth day of March, 1920.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Prentice Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, commencing from the old suspension bridge over the Ohura River, and proceeding thence generally for half its length in a westerly direction, thence to its termination in a northerly direction, adjoining or passing through school-site and Section 8, Block III, Ohura Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Ryan Road; being a distance of twenty-four chains and three-quarters, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48069, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Cook’s Tooth Road, in Patangata County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Patangata County, known as Cook’s Tooth Road, commencing at a point twelve chains south of the Mangamaire Bridge, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, adjoining or passing through part Porangahau 2B, Mangareia B No. 6 Block, Section 6, Block XV, part Porangahau 1B No. 4c Block, Sections 3 and 4, Block XVI, Porangahau Survey District, and part Section 1, Block III, Tautane Survey District; and terminating at a point on the eastern boundary of the said Section 1, Block III, Tautane Survey District, about twenty chains from the north-eastern corner of the said Section 1; being a distance of 5 miles 44 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48102, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48070, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mangatainoka Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifth day of March, 1920.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Mangatainoka Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the nineteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

FRANCIS CHARLES JOHN WALKLEY,
ABRAHAM BARRELL,
HENRY COWAN,
ADAM MACPHERSON, and
EDGAR HARVEY

as from the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, to be the Mangatainoka Domain Board
