RAUPO DRAINAGE BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and all other powers it thereto enabling, the Raupo Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £10,000 (ten thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Raupo Drainage Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the drainage scheme and the purchase of a Priestman dredge, the said Raupo Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and one-fortieth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Raupo Drainage District, comprising the whole of the drainage area ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE IN CONNECTION WITH THE KAEEA LOAN.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of the principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £7,500, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of reforming, culverting, and metalling the following roads—£1,450 reforming and culverting and metalling 9 inches deep by 9 feet wide the Ohura-Mokau Road from its junction with the Mokauiti Road to the Paro Road junction ; £2,950 from the Paro Road junction to the south-west corner of Section 10, Block III, Aria S.D. ; and £2,950 from the Paro Road to the north-west corner of Section 5, Block VI, Aria S.D.—the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny halfpenny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property of the Kaeaea Special Rating Area, commencing at the north-west corner of Aorangi B No. 3c No. 2b where it junctions with the Mokauiti Stream ; thence following the Mokauiti Stream in an easterly direction to the north-west corner of Pukeuha No. 1 ; thence along the northern and eastern boundary of the said section, the eastern boundary of Pukeuha B No. 2, to the northern boundary of Section 5, Block III, Aria S.D. ; thence along the northern boundary of the said section to its north-east corner ; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 10, Block III, Aria S.D., to the Waitomo County boundary with the Ohura County ; thence in a westerly direction along the Waitomo County boundary to the Waite whenua Road ; thence in a northerly direction along the Waite whenua Road to the north-west corner of Section 2, Block VI, Aria S.D. ; thence following the western boundaries of the following sections in a northerly direction, Section 2, Block VI, Aria S.D., and Section 5, Block II, Aria S.D., to the Pao Road ; thence along the Pao Road to the south-west corner of the Aorangi Block ; thence along its western boundary in a northerly direction to the south-west corner of Aorangi B No. 3c No. 2b ; thence by the western boundary of the last-mentioned section in a northerly direction to the starting-point.

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of reforming, culverting, and metalling the Kohua Road from the Wairere Bridge to the six-mile peg, also portions of the Owen Road and Houghton’s Road to the extent of £200 each, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny halfpenny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property of the Kohua Special Rating Area, commencing at the north-west corner of Section Aorangi B 1c near the Mokau River ; thence running in an easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said section, the western boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 61g Section 3 and the northern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 61g Section 3, Rangitoto-Tuhua 61o Section 2b 3, to the north-east corner of the last-mentioned section ; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundaries of the following sections, Rangitoto-Tuhua 61o Section 2b 3, Rangitoto-Tuhua 61o Section 2b 2, Rangitoto-Tuhua 61o 2b 1 ; thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 61o 2b 1, Rangitoto-Tuhua 61o Section 2A, to the eastern boundary of Section 11, Block XI, Totoro S.D. ; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of the said section to a point direct in line with the south-east corner of Section 8, Block XI, Totoro S.D., so as to draw an imaginary line cutting Sections 10 and 11, Block XI, Totoro S.D., in half ; thence along the southern boundary of Section 8, Block XI, Totoro S.D., to a point on the eastern boundary of Section 7, Block XI, Totoro S.D., to a point on the opposite boundary dividing the said Section 7, Block XI, Totoro S.D., in half ; thence along the western boundary of Section 7, Block XI, Totoro S.D., to the Mokauiti Stream ; thence along the Mokauiti Stream in a westerly direction to the south-east corner of Aorangi B No. 2 ; thence along the eastern boundary of the said section to a point opposite a point on the western boundary of Aorangi B No. 2 dividing the section in half ; thence along the western boundary of the said section in a northerly direction to the Mokau River ; thence along the Mokau River in a northerly direction to the starting-point.
