NELSON EDUCATION BOARD.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, to execute a certain public work—namely, to enlarge the grounds used in connection with Nelson Girls’ Central School; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908.
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Nelson Education Board, Hardy Street, Nelson, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land are required, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, to set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Nelson Education Board at Nelson.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land situate, lying, and being in the City of Nelson, in the Provincial District of Nelson, in the Dominion of New Zealand, containing one rood and nine perches, more or less. Bounded on the north by land formerly reserved for a goal but now a public school reserve, on the east by land hitherto used as a cemetery, and on the south by land granted as a site for a church for the Roman Catholics, and on the west by Shelburne Street.
