THE following notice, received from the Mayor of the Council of the Borough of Pukekohe, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE.
Result of Poll.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Pukekohe taken on the 8th day of December, 1920, on the proposal of the Pukekohe Borough Council to borrow the sum of £4,100 for the purpose of purchasing land in the Borough of Pukekohe for the purpose of a public domain and scenic reserve, and to make roads adjacent to and approaching such land, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 40, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 43.
I therefore declare that the proposal was lost.

MANGONUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Mangonui taken on the 10th day of November, 1920, on the proposal of the Mangonui County Council to borrow the sum of £4,500 for the erection of Council Chambers on Lot 1, part of subdivision of Section 25 of Block V, Takahue Survey District, and for the erection of machinery-sheds and stables on Section 20 of Block V, Takahue Survey District, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 528, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 327.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
