HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Staff Corps and Territorial Forces.
N.Z. STAFF CORPS.
The undermentioned are posted to the Retired List, with permission to retain their rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 1st January, 1921 :—
Major-General Sir Alfred William Robin, K.C.M.G., C.B., (D.).
Major Henry Charles Nutsford, M.B.E.
Major John Murray Rose, M.C., with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, in recognition of distinguished service in the late war. Dated 1st December, 1920.
1ST MOUNTED RIFLES (CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY).
Major Percy Hawkins Johnson is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 14th December, 1920.
Lieutenant Horace Drummond Bailey resigns his commission. Dated 14th December, 1920.
QUEEN ALEXANDRA’S 2ND (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
2nd Lieutenant Oswald Lovell Ferens, from the Unattached List (General List), to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 13th February, 1920.
9TH (WELLINGTON EAST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant (temp.) Hugh McLean Campbell resigns his commission. Dated 1st December, 1920.
10TH (NELSON) MOUNTED RIFLES (RESERVE OF OFFICERS).
Honorary Captain and Quartermaster John Alfred Stringer is posted to the Retired List, under the provisions of paragraphs 126 and 127, General Regulations, 1913, with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 8th December, 1920.
11TH (NORTH AUCKLAND) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Captain Allan Henry Wright, from the 15th (North Auckland) Regiment, to be Captain. Dated 1st December, 1920.
