THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Awapuni 1A 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Wednesday, the 18th day of February, 1920, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a lease of Awapuni 1A 1 Block be given to the Poverty Bay Golf Club for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the present capital valuation of the said land, together with the right to compensation for all improvements effected by the said club during the currency of the said lease: Provided, however, that if required reservations may be made of an area in the said block for the use and occupation of the owners.”
NOTE.—The present capital value of the block is £1,545.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1A 12 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“ (1.) To lease the Marangairoa 1A 12 Block to James Neville Davis-Colley for a term of twenty-one years. Rental, 5s. per acre per annum. Lessee to pay £375 for the grassed portion and improvements on the land. Right of renewal for further twenty-one years, as agreed on, rental not being less than 5 per cent. on Government unimproved value, or full compensation for improvements.”
“ (2.) That a lease of the Marangairoa 1A 12 Block be granted to J. T. Harvey, of Te Araroa, hotelkeeper, for twenty-one years, at a rental of 5s. per acre, with compensation for improvements.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1C 6C Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the said Marangairoa No. 1C 6C be leased to Henare Poananga, of Tokomaru Bay, solicitor, for a term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental equal to 5 per cent. of the present value of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at an annual rental equal to the then unimproved value of the land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken.”
NOTE.—The capital value of the block is £4,526.

“ That the Toreohaua No. 20 Block be leased to Hine te Ariki Pera, of Waituhi, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years from the date of passing such resolution, at a yearly rental of 5s. 6d. per acre.”
NOTE.—The present capital value of the land is £190.

“ (1.) That a proposed alienation of the land by way of sale to Irene C. Goodfellow shall be agreed to; or in the alternative
“ (2.) That a proposed alienation of the land by way of lease to Irene C. Goodfellow shall be agreed to.
“ (3.) That a proposed alienation of the land by way of sale to William E. Hughes shall be agreed to.”
