Puahue No. 2 No. 7B Block; thence along that boundary, the eastern, northern, and western boundaries of No. 2 No. 6B to the northern boundary of part of Puahue No. 2 shown on deposited plan 2209A; thence along that boundary to the north-eastern boundary of Puahue No. 1F Block; thence north-westerly along that boundary and south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Puahue No. 1F and 1G Blocks to the easternmost corner of Allotment 158, Puniu Parish; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 158, 157, 156, said parish, and the production thereof to the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 307, said parish; thence generally northerly along the western boundary of Pukekura Parish to the Waikato River, and down the middle of that river to the Tamahere River, the point of commencement.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is provided by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, that any area or areas of land may be constituted an electric-power district under the said Act, and in the manner therein provided:
And whereas a petition praying that the area described in the First Schedule hereto may be constituted an electric-power district under the said Act was presented to the Governor-General on the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen:
And whereas such petition was publicly notified in the Te Aroha News dated the tenth day of September, the Ohinemuri Gazette dated the tenth day of September, the Thames Star dated the eleventh day of September, the Matamata Record dated the eleventh day of September, and the Morrinsville Star dated the twelfth day of September, respectively, in the year one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, being newspapers circulating in the proposed electric-power district:
And whereas after due inquiry the Governor-General is of opinion that the petition should be granted:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, do hereby proclaim the district as described in the Second Schedule hereto to be an electric-power district, and I hereby assign to such district the name of the "Thames Valley Electric-power District."
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District comprising the counties of Thames, Ohinemuri, Piako, and Matamata, also including the boroughs of Te Aroha, Paeroa, and Thames, and town districts of Matamata and Morrinsville. Commencing at the mouth of the Waikawau River (in Block VI, Hastings Survey District). Bounded towards the north generally by the Coromandel County; towards the east generally by the Tasman Sea to the mouth of the Waihi Stream (in Block III, Waihi North Survey District); towards the south-east by Tauranga County; again towards the east generally by Tauranga County aforesaid and the Rotorua and East Taupo Counties; towards the south and towards the west generally by the West Taupo, Waipa, and Waikato Counties to the Firth of Thames; towards the north and west generally by the Firth of Thames aforesaid to the Waikawau River, the place of commencement: excepting from the above-described area the Borough of Waihi as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1902, page 413.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District comprising the counties of Thames, Ohinemuri, Piako, and Matamata, also including the boroughs of Te Aroha, Paeroa, and Thames (but excluding the Borough of Waihi as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 1902, page 413), and the town districts of Matamata and Morrinsville, and bounded by a line commencing at Pukorokoro in the Firth of Thames; thence proceeding easterly along the sea-coast to the southern boundary of the Thames Borough; thence along the southern, western, and part of the northern boundaries of the said borough to the sea-coast; thence northerly along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Waikawau River, and up the middle of that river to its source; thence along a right line to the northern head of the Tairau Harbour, in the Bay of Plenty; thence southerly along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Waihi Stream; thence south-westerly along a right line to the Te Aroha Mountain; thence north-easterly along a right line in the direction of Ngakuriawhare Trig. Station to the western boundary of the Tauranga Confiscation Block, and south-easterly along said boundary to the northernmost point of the Okauia No. 1A Block; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that block to Trig. Station 909 (Waianuanu), and along right lines through Trig. Stations 146 (Te Weraiti), 27 (Punwhenua), and 807 (Uraura); thence along a right line in the direction of the mouth of the Waihora Stream (Lake Taupo) to the Waikato River; thence down the middle of that river to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Stations 807 (Uraura) and 1427 (Maungatautari); thence north-westerly along said right line to last-mentioned trig. station; thence along a right line to the easternmost corner of Puketura No. 15 Block; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Puketura Nos. 15 and 17 Blocks and the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Puketura No. 18B Block to Trig. Station 52 (Puketura); thence along the north-western boundaries of Puketura Nos. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 Blocks to the Waikato River, and down the middle of that river to the eastern boundary of Cambridge Borough; thence north-easterly along the boundary of that borough to the Karapiro Stream, and up the middle of that stream to the south side of the road forming the north-western boundary of Allotment 276, Parish of Hautapu; thence north-easterly along the said side of road and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 276, 275, 274, 273, 272, and 271 of the said parish, the crossing of a road, and the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Section 8, Karapiro Settlement; thence generally northerly along the confiscation boundary-line to Pukorokoro, the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 47400, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, and thereon edged in blue.
