As the same is delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 46868, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, and thereon edged in black.

Constituting the Cambridge Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it is provided by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, that any area or areas of land may be constituted an electric-power district under the said Act, and in the manner therein provided:

And whereas a petition praying that the area described in the First Schedule hereto may be constituted an electric-power district under the said Act was presented to the Governor-General on the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen:

And whereas such petition was publicly notified in the Waikato Independent dated the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, a newspaper circulating in the proposed electric-power district:

And whereas after due inquiry the Governor-General is of opinion that the petition should be granted subject to the proposed boundaries of the district being altered as hereinafter appears:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, do hereby alter the proposed boundaries and proclaim the district with the altered boundaries as described in the Second Schedule hereto to be an electric-power district, and I hereby assign to such district the name of the β€œCambridge Electric-power District.”

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District comprising the road districts of Cambridge, Pukekura, and Roto-o-rangi, also including the Borough of Cambridge and the Town District of Leamington: bounded commencing at a point on the confiscation boundary-line being the southernmost point of the Pukekura Road District; thence generally towards the south-west and west by the Pukekura Road District boundary as far as the junction of Mystery Creek with the Waikato River; thence following the Waikato River northwards to the north-westernmost point of the Cambridge Road District; thence generally towards the north-east and north by the northern boundary of the Cambridge Road District as far as the confiscation boundary-line adjoining the Te Miro Special Settlement; thence following the Matamata County boundary as far as the Waikato River; thence following the Waikato River in a south-easterly direction to the confiscation boundary-line being the north-easterly corner of the Pukekura Road District; thence following the confiscation boundary-line to Pukekura Trig. Station No. 52; thence following the eastern and southern boundaries of the Roto-o-rangi Road District to the confiscation boundary-line; thence following the same in a south-westerly direction to the southernmost corner of the Pukekura Road District, being the place of commencement: excepting from the above-described area the Town District of Ohaupo as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1915, page 1629. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47255, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, and thereon edged in red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

CAMBRIDGE ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District comprising the Borough of Cambridge, the Town District of Leamington, the road districts of Cambridge and Roto-o-rangi, and part of the Road District of Pukekura: bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the Tamahere River with the Waikato River; thence proceeding up the middle of the Tamahere River and the Mangaone Stream to the northern boundary of the Parish of Hautapu; thence along that boundary to the north-western corner of Section 1, Block VIII, Hamilton Survey District; thence easterly along the northern boundary of said Section 1 and its production to the confiscation boundary-line; thence south-easterly along that line to Trig. Station 9, the easternmost corner of Section 8, Karapiro Settlement; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 8 and the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 7 and 6, Karapiro Settlement, Allotments 271, 272, 273, 274, 275, and 276, Pukekura Parish, to the south side of the road forming the north-western boundary of the last-mentioned allotment; thence along that side of the said road to the Karapiro Stream, and down the middle of that stream to the eastern boundary of Borough of Cambridge; thence southerly along the said boundary of the borough to the middle of the Waikato River, and up the middle of that river to the north-western boundary of Pukekura No. 1 Block; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Pukekura Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 Blocks to Trig. Station 52 (Pukekura); thence along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Pukekura No. 18 and the north-eastern boundaries of Pukekura Nos. 17 and 15 to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned block; thence along a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 1427 (Maungatautari) to the eastern boundary of Maungatautari No. 3A 5A 8, along the eastern boundaries of that block and Maungatautari No. 3A 5A 1, along the southern boundary of the last-mentioned block, the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Maungatautari No. 4H 8 Block to the northern boundary of
