Recreation Reserve in Otago Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Luggate Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.
LUGGATE DOMAIN.

ALL that area, situated in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 7 perches, more or less, being Section 23, Block VI, Tarras Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west and north-east by Section 25, Block VI aforesaid, 494·9 and 149·5 links respectively; again towards the north-east and north-west by Section 24, Block VI aforesaid, 356 and 399·2 links respectively; and again towards the north-east by a public road, 284·2 links; towards the south-west generally by River-bank Reserve, 1310·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/642, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting a Cemetery Reserve in the Ohakune Borough Council.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for cemetery purposes: And whereas in the opinion of the Governor-General it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Burgesses, and Inhabitants of the Borough of Ohakune:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Burgesses, and Inhabitants of the Borough of Ohakune, in trust, for cemetery purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being Section 24A, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 24B, Block VIII aforesaid, 1377·2 links; towards the north-east by the Rangatua Road, 295·1 and 265 links; towards the south-east and south-west by Section 24C, Block VIII aforesaid, 1592·3 and 505·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1503, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Women’s Mutual Aid Society incorporated under the War Funds Act, 1915.

At the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of June, 1919.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section twelve of the War Funds Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council gazetted, incorporate a society possessing a war fund, or the trustees of such fund: And whereas application, in writing addressed to the Minister, has been made by the Women’s Mutual Aid Society (being a society possessing a war fund), praying for the incorporation of that society:
And whereas it is considered desirable to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the society known as the Women’s Mutual Aid Society is hereby incorporated for the purposes of the said Act as from the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall be known as the “Women’s Mutual Aid Society.”

Prohibiting the Importation of Wheatmeal and Ground Wheat.

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of June, 1919.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, as extended by section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Amendment Act, 1915, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Order in Council prohibit the importation into New Zealand of any goods the prohibition of the importation of which is in his opinion necessary in the public interest:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is necessary in the public interest that the importation of wheatmeal and ground wheat should be prohibited to the extent hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon him by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, and section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Amendment Act, 1915, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit the importation into New Zealand of wheatmeal and ground wheat save with the consent of the Minister of Customs given on the recommendation of the Board of Trade.
