time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint
such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a
Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act,
control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-
first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth
day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a
Domain Board was appointed to control the Reefton Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the twentieth day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

RICHARD WILLS,
JAMES BILLETT,
JOHN DICK,
JAMES GIBSON, and
JAMES PATTERSON,

as from the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and nineteen, to be the Reefton Domain Board,
having the control of the land described in the Schedule
hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the
said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fifth
day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at
twelve o'clock noon, as the time when, and the Council
Chambers, Reefton, as the place where, the first meeting of
the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

REEFTON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by
admeasurement 58 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, and
being part of Section 189 of Square 131, in Block IX, Reefton
Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the
road known as the Short Track to Capleston, 948 links;
towards the south-west by railway lands, 1197·1 links;
again towards the north-west by railway lands, 442·8 links;
again towards the south-west by railway lands, 2016·3 links
and 1405·4 links; towards the south-east by part of the road
forming the north-west boundary of Section 203, in Block X,
1275·4 links; and towards the north-east by Section 17 of
the said Block X and a public road, 4774·5 links: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated
on plan marked L. and S. 1/32A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing
by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 25·8 perches, more or less,
and being part of Section 1338 of the Town of Reefton.
Bounded towards the north partly by a public road (being
part of the land formerly known as “The Strand”) and partly
by the drill-shed reserve, being Section 1344 of the Town of
Reefton, 2230·6 links; and towards the east, south-east, and
south-west by public roads, 50 links, 918·1 links, and
1400·7 links respectively: excepting from the land included
within the above-described boundaries the drill-shed reserve
known as Lot 1 of the before-mentioned Section 1338: be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 1/32B, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth
day of June, 1919.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare
that the reserve for recreation in the Canterbury Land Dis-
trict described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same
is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to
be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and
such reserve shall hereafter be known as Rangitata Domain,
and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public
domain.

SCHEDULE.

RANGITATA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 3 perches, more or less,
being Reserve 4025, Block IV, Geraldine Survey District,
formerly Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10, Block IX,
South Rangitata Township, Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13,
and 14, Block X, South Rangitata Township, and a closed
road formerly portion of Edward Street in the aforesaid
township. Bounded towards the north-west by Francis
Street, 250 links; towards the north-east by Sections 5 and
6, Block IX aforesaid, 150 links; again towards the north-
west by Section 6, Block IX aforesaid, by Edward Street,
and by Sections 3 and 10, Block X aforesaid, 904·8 links;
again towards the north-east by Cooper Street, 421·1 links;
towards the south-east by a public road, 1176·2 links; and
towards the south-west by Clogstoun Street, 570·6 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/644, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Section 19, Block II, Rangaunu Survey District, commencing
at the southernmost corner of Section 2, Block III, Karakara
Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by
Sections 2 and 3, Block III, Karakara Survey District, 451·1,
106·8, and 1941 links; towards the north-east by a public
road, 1053·8 links; towards the south-east by Section 17,
Block II, Rangaunu Survey District, 246, 717·8, 1082, 432·9,
and 804·5 links; and towards the south-west by a public road
along Rangaunu Bay, 2032·7 links, to the point of commence-
ment: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the
same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/617,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
