And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Taieri Lake Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JAMES HOWELL,
ALEXANDER PEARSON,
ROBERT SCOTT,
JAMES BAIRD, and
ALEXANDER BARRIE MANN,

as from the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Taieri Lake Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the tenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Kyeburn as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TAIERI LAKE DOMAIN.

ALL those parcels of land in the Otago Land District, containing together 464 acres, more or less, being sections numbered 18 and 22, Block XI, and Section 2, Block XII, Maniototo District. Bounded towards the east by Section 7, Block XII, 1892·8 links, the crossing of a public road, 104·7 links, and again by said Section 7, 971·7 links; generally towards the north by said Section 7, 7526·2 links; again towards the east by Section 10, Block XII, 258·9 links; towards the south-east by Crown land, 3400 links; towards the south generally by the Taieri River, 13500 links; again towards the south by Section 1, Block XI, 729·6 links; towards the west by a public road, 1911·3 links; towards the north by Section 23, Block XI, 210·3 links; and again towards the west and south-west by said Section 23, 941·9 links and 152·9 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 2136·1 links, the crossing of a public road, 159·5 links, and again by a public road, 4272·9 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: and excepting from out of the aforesaid parcels of land Section 24 and a public road a chain wide, allowance for which has been made in the area. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/182B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 39 perches, more or less, being sections numbered 67 to 81, Town of Komako. Bounded towards the north-east by a street, 512·3 links; towards the south-east by a street, 1000 links; towards the south-west by section numbered 82 of the said town, 250 links; again towards the south-east by sections numbered 82, 83, and 84 of said town, 290·9 links; and towards the west and north-west by a street, 1357 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1365/A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being sections numbered 108 and 109, Town of Komako. Bounded towards the north-west by Crown land, 799 links; towards the south-east and east by a street, 1057 links; and towards the south-west by Sections 110 to 116 of said town, 674 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/182, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of June, 1919.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Ealing Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

as from the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Ealing Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolroom, Ealing, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

EALING DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 3112 (in red), formerly part of Reserve No. 1650, Blocks VII and VIII, Rangitata Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the railway reserve, 822·6 links; towards the north-east by a road-line 1061·1 links; towards the south-east by a line running parallel to the first-described boundary, 1177·4 links; and towards the south-west by a line at a right angle, 1000 links, the two latter boundaries forming part of the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 1 of Reserve No. 1650: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1202, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
