“That the Tihiomanono No. 2 Block be leased to Henare Pereto, of Te Araroa, Native farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental not less than 5 per cent. of the Government valuation of the said land, with a right to compensation for improvements effected thereon during the said period.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tihiomanono No. 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the Tihiomanono No. 1 Block be leased to Riawai Rangihuna for a term of twenty-one years at the yearly rental not less than 5 per cent. of the Government valuation of the said land, with a right to compensation for improvements effected thereon during the said period.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whetumatarau Block (part) is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a portion of the Whetumatarau Block be leased to Pira Hauiti, of Te Araroa, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. of the then Government unimproved valuation of the land, and with the right to compensation for improvements should the lease be not renewed.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whetumatarau Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a lease of portion of Whetumatarau Block be granted to Hirai Tengahue, Native woman, of Te Araroa, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum on present Government valuation, with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum on the then Government unimproved valuation, or with the right to compensation for improvements should the lease be not renewed.”

of Whetumatarau Block (part) is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a thousand acres of the Whetumatarau Block be leased to Riawai Rangihuna, of Te Araroa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental of not less than 5 per centum, together with the right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental of not less than 5 per centum on the then unimproved Government valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken.”

“That the Whetumatarau Block (part) be leased to Henare Ahuriri and Maaka Tauranga, both of Te Ararca, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the said land for the first ten years, and thereafter at a rental equal to 5 per centum of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land. No right of renewal or compensation for improvements.”
