REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharekahika 6c 2 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the Wharekahika No. 6c 2 Block be leased to Henare Ahuriri and Miritene te Mataku, both of Wharekahika, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved Government valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements should the lease not be renewed.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharekahika 18F Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the Wharekahika 18F Block be leased to Heni Houkamau, of Te Araroa, Native woman, for a term of twenty-one years at the annual rental not less than 5 per cent. of the capital Government valuation of the said land, with a right to compensation for improvements effected during the said period.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1A No. 4 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a lease of the Marangairoa 1A No. 4 Block be given to Mate Tiarete and Mihi Tiarete, both of Manutahi, farmers, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per centum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to payment of any money by way of compensation for improvements which are effected by the lessees upon the said land during the continuance of the term hereby created and are unexhausted on the termination of such term.”

“That a lease of the Marangairoa No. 1A 8 Block be given to Tipiwai Houkamau, of Te Araroa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per centum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to payment of any money by way of compensation for improvements which are put by the lessees upon the said land during the continuance of the term hereby created and are unexhausted on the termination of such term.”

“That a lease of the Tihio manono No. 4c Block be granted to Rupuha Konia, of Te Araroa, Native farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at the yearly rental not to be less than 5 per cent. of the Government valuation of the said land, with a right to compensation for improvements effected thereon during the said term.”
