Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhiti C Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay on Thursday, the 13th day of February, 1919, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—

“That the said Nuhiti C Consolidated Block be leased to Te Rawhiti Paerata, of Waipare, sheep-farmer, for twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per centum per annum of the capital Government valuation, with the right to compensation for all improvements effected by the lessee; or, in the alternative

“That that the said land be leased to an owner, nominated at the meeting, for a term of twenty-one years, with the right to compensation for improvements, and at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the said land.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kairapirapi Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kahukura on Thursday, the 20th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of the Kairapirapi Block be granted to Henare Akuhata and Wiremu Akuhata, as tenants in common, in equal shares for the term of twenty-one years at the yearly rental of 5 per centum on the present Government valuation of the said land, with right to compensation for improvements.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tikapa-o-Hine-Kopeka No. 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kahukura on Thursday, the 20th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Tikapa-o-Hine-Kopeka No. 1 Block be leased to Warihi Huihui, of Kahukura, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per centum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to payment of any money by way of compensation for improvements which are put by the lessee upon the said land during the continuance of the term hereby created and are unexhausted on the termination of such term.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Arataha No. 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kahukura on Thursday, the 20th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Arataha No. 3 Block be leased to Raiha te Hei, of Reporua, Native woman, for a term of twenty-one years at the yearly rental of not less than 5 per centum of the Government capital value of the said land, with a right to compensation for improvements effected thereon during the said period.”

“That a lease of the Tokata No. 5 Block be granted to Kararaina Akuhata for the term of twenty-one years at the yearly rent of 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation of the said land, with right to compensation for improvements.”

“That a lease of the Wharekahika 1B 4D Block be given to Waaka Porakau and Wiremu te Whare, both of Te Araroa, farmers, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per centum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to payment of any money by way of compensation for improvements which are put by the lessees upon the said land during the continuance of the term hereby created and are unexhausted on the termination of such term.”
