Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, and Transfers of Officers of the Territorial Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the Territorial Force, and the reposting of officers from the N.Z. Expeditionary Force to the Territorial Force.
APPOINTMENTS.
Major Norton Francis, N.Z. Forces Motor Service Corps, appointed Director of Base Records on 15th November, 1915, relinquishes the appointment, and is attached for duty to the General Staff at Headquarters. Dated 31st March, 1919.
Major Alfred Tattersall, 4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles, relinquishes the appointment of Group Commander, Group No. 17, Auckland Military District. Dated 5th April, 1919.
Captain (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) Alexander Wilson Hogg, M.B., relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Medical Services, Canterbury Military District, dated 7th April, 1919, and is appointed Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District. Dated 8th April, 1919.
Lieutenant-Colonel Percival Robert Cook, M.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District. Dated 31st March, 1919.
Major George Pearce Baldwin, L.R.C.P. Ed., N.Z. Medical Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Member of a Special District Medical Board, dated 6th April, 1919, and is appointed Assistant Director of Medical Services (temporary), Canterbury Military District, with the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel whilst so employed. Dated 7th April, 1919.
Lieutenant (Honorary Captain) William Hoar relinquishes the appointment of Infantry Instructor in N.Z. Expeditionary Force training-camps, and the honorary rank of Captain. Dated 8th March, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Charles Newey Mitchell, N.Z. Field Artillery, “D” Battery, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, Wellington Field Artillery Brigade, and the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 1st May, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Stanley Moxham Dixon, 7th Wellington (West Coast) Regiment, relinquishes the appointment of Area Officer (temp.), Group No. 20, Wellington Military District. Dated 28th April, 1919.
James Mason, Esq., relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Recruiting. Dated 30th April, 1919.

Major George Dacre Hamilton resigns his commission on transfer to the Royal Engineers. Dated 5th September, 1917.

Lieutenant Clarence Nathaniel Newman, D.S.O., to be Captain, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913. Dated 14th November, 1918.
Captain Frederick Charles Soar is temporarily attached for duty from the Reserve of Officers (temporary). Dated 8th April, 1919.
“D” Battery.
Lieutenant David Alexander Ewen is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 9th April, 1919.
“G” Battery.
Lieutenant Oliver Robert Farrer is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 15th April, 1919.
