the said district shall be issued to any person on payment
of the sum of twenty shillings each; and that the Post-
masters at Mongonui, Awanui, Fairburns, Kaeo, Saies,
Waiharara, and Kaitaia are hereby appointed to sign and issue
the said licenses to kill imported game.
And I do further notify that the following native game-
viz., grey duck, teal, spoonbill duck, pukeko, and black swan
-may be killed within the above-mentioned district (except
in the areas mentioned in the Schedule hereto) from the first
day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to the
thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
nineteen, both days inclusive; and I do hereby restrict the
number of such native game that may be killed by any one
person in any one day to not more than twenty-five head in
all.
SCHEDULE.
AREAS WHEREIN IMPORTED AND NATIVE GAME SHALL NOT
BE KILLED.
ALL that area situated in Blocks VI, VII, IX, and X,
Maungataniwha Survey District, and described in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 62, of 7th August, 1902.
All that area situated in Blocks II and III, Rangaunu
Survey District, and known as Lake Rotokawau, and the
area within a line parallel to and five chains from the edge of
the said lake.
The Council's reserve at Lake Ngatau.
And all lands notified or set apart as sanctuaries or reserves
for the preservation of imported or native game.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this second day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen.

Arrangements for First Election, &c., Papatoetoe Town District.

H IS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased

HUGH CECIL ERNEST, of Papatoetoe,
to be Returning Officer and person to prepare the electors'
roll for the first election of seven members of the Board of
Commissioners of the Papatoetoe Town District, as constituted
under the Town Boards Act, 1908; also to appoint Wednesday,
the 21st day of May, 1919, as the day, and the Public Hall,
Papatoetoe, as the place, for holding such first election; and
Monday, the 26th day of May, at 7.30 o'clock in the evening,
to be the time, and the Board Room in the said Public Hall,
Papatoetoe, to be the place, for holding the first meeting of
the Board so elected.
