Prohibiting the Importation of Russian Rouble Notes.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourteenth day of April, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, as extended by section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Amendment Act, 1915, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council, prohibit the importation into New Zealand of any goods the prohibition of the importation of which is in his opinion necessary in the public interest :
And whereas in the opinion of the Governor-General it is necessary in the public interest that the importation of Russian rouble notes should be prohibited to the extent and in the manner hereinafter appearing :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, and section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Amendment Act, 1915, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit the importation of Russian rouble notes into the Dominion of New Zealand save with the consent of the Minister of Customs.

Revoking the Vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Horowhenua County of Part Section 232, Town of Shannon, Wellington Land District.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourteenth day of April, 1919.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Horowhenua County, in trust, as a site for a public library and reading-room, by an Order in Council dated the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in Gazette of the sixth day of that month, in pursuance of section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, but a certificate of title has not issued in respect of the said reserve :
And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the said land, and the Horowhenua County Council has duly consented to such revocation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection two of section three of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 30·3 perches, more or less, being part of Section 232, Town of Shannon. Bounded towards the north-west by Plimmer Terrace, 75·76 links; towards the north-east by the other part of Section 232, 250 links; towards the south-east by Section 230, 75·76 links; and towards the south-west by Section 233, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 52152/38, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting Reserves in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Selwyn County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourteenth day of April, 1918.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart for gravel-pits: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient that the said lands should be vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Selwyn County :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Selwyn County, in trust, for gravel-pits.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods, more or less, and being Reserve No. 4026 (formerly portion of Section 30100), situated in Block IX, Coleridge Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east and south-east by other part of Section 30100, 565·8 and 480·9 links respectively; towards the south-west and north-west by the Peak Hill Road, 474·6 and 489·4 links respectively.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods, more or less, and being Reserve No. 4027 (formerly portion of Section 30102), situated in Block XIV, Coleridge Survey District. Bounded towards the south-west, north-west, and north-east by other part of Section 30102, 497·6, 500, and 500·7 links respectively; and towards the south-east by Lake Coleridge Road, 500 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourteenth day of April, 1919.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for an addition to a ferry reserve: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient that the said land should be vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Murchison County :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Murchison County, in trust, for an addition to a ferry reserve.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 27 perches, more or less, being Section 55, Block I, Tutaki Survey District, and being the road closed by a Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 4th day of July, 1918, page 2486.
