HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to approve of the appointments, promotions, resigna-
tions, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the
N.Z. Staff Corps, N.Z. Permanent Staff, and Territorial Force,
and the reposting of officers from the N.Z. Expeditionary
Force to the Territorial Force:-

APPOINTMENTS.

Lieut.-Colonel Thomas William McDonald, N.Z. Staff Corps,
is appointed to command (temp.) the Wellington Military
District, dated 12th March, 1919, vice Lieut.-Colonel (temp.
Colonel) J. E. Hume, Royal N.Z. Artillery, on sick leave.
Captain Duncan Barrie Blair, D.S.O., M.C., N.Z. Staff Corps
(Lieut.-Colonel, N.Z.E.F.), is appointed Assistant Military
Secretary and Aide-de-Camp to the Commandant, N.Z.
Military Forces, and retains the rank of Lieut.-Colonel
(temp.) whilst so employed. Dated 24th February, 1919.
Captain (temp. Major) George Bertram Banks, N.Z. Staff
Corps, relinquished the appointment of Camp Quarter-
master, Featherston Camp, on 8th November, 1918, retain-
ing the temporary rank of Major, and is appointed Group
Commander, No. 18 Group, dated 7th February, 1919, with
the temporary rank of Major whilst so employed.
