Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of April, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and gazetted the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown, excepting in so far as such Order in Council has been revoked in respect of Taurewa 4 West A No. 3, containing 159 acres, and Taurewa 4 West A No. 4A, containing 336 acres.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the sixteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and gazetted the eighteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Partial Revocation of Order in Council prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of April, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any Order in Council made under that section may at any time be varied or revoked :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council referred to in Part I of the Schedule hereto, but only in so far as it affects the land mentioned in Part II of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

PART I.

ORDER in Council under section 363 of the Native Land Act, 1909, dated the 3rd April, 1916, and gazetted the 13th April, 1916, affecting Rotoiti No. 5A and other blocks.

PART II.

Taheke Papakainga No. 6B No. 1, containing 3 roods 26 perches, more or less, situate in Rotoiti Survey District.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

HEREHEREATAU 2A No. 1 Block: Approximate area, 74 acres 2 roods 26⅔ perches; Clyde and Opoiti Survey Districts.
