Declaring Portion of Upper Gorge Block Road, in the Pohangina County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of April, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Upper Gorge Block Road, situated in the Wellington Land District, Pohangina County, commencing at the south-eastern boundary of Section 6, Block IV, Gorge Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction passing through the said Section 6 and Section 10, Block IV, Gorge Survey District, and terminating at the boundary between Sections 10 and 11, Block IV, Gorge Survey District; being a distance of sixty chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45730, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked B-C.

Directing Sale of Railway Land under the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of March, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work is not required for such public work the Governor-General may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act :

And whereas the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway by a conveyance dated the fifth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, and duly registered in the office of the Registrar of Deeds at Auckland as No. 54907 :

And whereas the said piece of land is not now required for the purposes of the said Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and the Minister of Railways has recommended that this Order in Council should be issued directing such parcel of land to be sold :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the said land.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 1 acre 3 roods 16 perches and 3 roods 2·5 perches.

Portions of railway reserve (part Allotment 36, Parish of Pukekohe), Block XV, Drury Survey District, Franklin County. (S.O. 20328, blue.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 26177, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Directing Sale of Land in Block IX, Maungatautari Survey District, under the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of April, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of April, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and gazetted the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

SCHEDULE.

THAT portion of Pakiri No. 1 Block situated in Block X, and lying between the road and the sea: Approximate area, 6,611 acres; Pakiri Survey District.
