Stopping Government Roads in Blocks VI and X, Waipu Survey District, Whangarei County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:

And whereas the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto are no longer required for the purposes of roads:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of April, 1919.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

Declaring Portion of Upper Gorge Block Road, in the Woodville County, to be a County Road.


LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of April, 1919.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Upper Gorge Block Road, in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Woodville County, commencing at its junction with Saddle Road, about four chains from the north-western boundary of Section 4, Block XIV, Woodville Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction for a distance of seven chains, and then generally in a north-westerly direction passing through the said Section 4 and Section 12, Block XIV, Woodville Survey District, and terminating at the boundary between Block IV, Gorge Survey District, and Block XIV, Woodville Survey District; being a distance of sixty-two chains and a half, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45730, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.
