Commencing at the south-west corner of Section 4, Block II, Kerikeri Survey District, hereinbefore mentioned; thence in a north-easterly direction generally by the existing boundary of the Whangaroa and Bay of Islands Counties to the sea; thence in a northerly and north-westerly direction generally by the sea to include the Cavalli Islands; thence in a south-westerly direction to the north-western corner of the Paihia Block at its junction with the sea; thence in a southerly direction by the eastern boundaries of Wainui No. 2 Block and the Wainui Block to the Trig. Station Weta; thence in a south-westerly direction by the north-western boundaries of Sections 6 and 5; thence in a north-westerly direction by the south-west boundary of Touwai No. B No. 30; thence southward by the western boundary of Touwai No. B No. 34 to its south-western corner; thence in a south-easterly direction generally by the eastern boundary of the Kaeo Riding hereinbefore described as far as the eastern corner of Section 40 hereinbefore mentioned; thence in an easterly direction generally by the northern boundary of the Waiare Riding hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.

Whangaroa Riding.

Commencing at the north-west corner of the Paihia Block hereinbefore mentioned; thence in a north-easterly direction by the sea, to include Flat Island; thence in a north-westerly direction by the sea, to include Stephenson's Island; thence in a southerly direction by the sea to the mouth of the Whangaroa Harbour; thence in a south-westerly direction by the eastern boundary of the Totara Riding hereinbefore described; thence in an easterly direction generally by the northern boundary of the Kaeo Riding hereinbefore described as far as the south-west corner of Touwai No. B No. 34; thence in a northerly direction generally by the western boundary of the Otoroa Riding hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.

In pursuance of section 98 of the Counties Act, 1908, I, Joseph Solloway Lane, of Totara North, the Chairman of the Whangaroa County Council, do hereby certify that the foregoing special order was passed at a special meeting of the Whangaroa County Council held on the 13th day of January, 1919, and was duly confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 14th day of February, 1919, and that the said special order has been duly made in accordance with law.

Dates of Election of Members of the Waitara Fire Board.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Fire Brigades Act, 1908, I, George Warren Russell, Minister of Internal Affairs, and the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the 9th day of April, 1919, to be the day for the holding of an election of three members of the Waitara Fire Board by the contributing local authority; and I do further appoint Friday, the 11th day of April, 1919, to be the day for the holding of an election of three members of the said Waitara Fire Board by the fire-insurance companies which for the time being are carrying on business within the said Waitara Fire District.
